I am currently working full time in the evenings from 3 pm to 11 pm, Tuesday through Saturday. I would love to use my available time to take care of dogs and cats of various breeds and ages.

I care for my pets at home by creating a stimulating environment for them to play, rest and explore. I also make sure to proof my home so that pets are safe. I use engaging toys to play with my cat and feed him twice a day with snacks if needed.

A typical day
When I have dog sat in the past, I make sure to take dogs on an hour long walk so that they get their daily exercise in and playing fetch. I also enjoy going to dog parks and the beach.

Pet care experience
I have taken care of my friends dog and also have had pets my entire life (cats, rabbits, birds) and are family to me. I have fed my friend's dog while they were away and am aware of important items that are needed for dogs such as: treats, litter box, leash, medicine, toys, and carriers. I am patient and am good at picking up on dog body language. Picking up on these things such as tail wagging, rolling over and signs of stress has enabled me to beter serve the dog I was taking care of.
