I am devoted to dogs and am readily available to care feed and walk the lil beans! I’ve had experience with all dog ages and can look after all different dogs! However, preferably I’d sit a dog who is able to cope being away from their owners (I understand your doggo will miss you and in their own home it’ll be easier but a stressed dog is not nice to see) therefore guidelines, tips and any current behaviours and potential behaviours that could be exhibited. If you have had sitters before it would be helpful to gain an insight into what your dog is like when you’re not there as it always varies and I want to make sure they feel and know they are safe with me :)

Information Laura G. would like to know about your pet
It’s important for me to know if your dog is okay around other dogs and people. I can no longer board dogs at my home but can provide all other services. I also need to know what they’re like off lead or whether I should keep them off lead. If I’m giving them their meals it would be helpful for you to provide their normal food so I know they’re eating what is normally in their diet. What are they like with other genders, children, other dogs, whether their nervous or excitable. I’ve looked after rescue dogs before so if any necessary bandanas or something on their lead to say nervous, friendly, do not pet, caution etc and what they are like with love and attention. I’d like to know if they like toys and treats and what they’re like in other environments and what their toileting is like.
A typical day
On my days off (walks and house sitting or day care all eve) - Early morning walks to Greyville Park or surrounding areas, for evening walks I’d go for longer and go to Leigh Woods or somewhere for your dog to run freely :) Lots of love and attention as well!

Pet care experience
I have been active on Rover for 1 years at for Borrow my doggy prior to that for 8+ years so have had a lot of experience sitting, walking and boarding! I also grew up with dogs and have always been told I have very special bonds with them! I am a part time student (3 days a week 10-1:30) and study very local to my flat so am very flexible when it comes to walking your pooches! I can be available in the mornings, afternoon and evenings :) I am also on Easter break so have even more availability! I have the upmost love for dogs and will ensure their safety at all times, show them lots of love and attention and take them on many walks as I live by lots of lovely parks :) If I were in your home I’d follow any guidance or routine given to me and would do the same as I would in my home in regards to love attention and play!

Laura house sat for us for 3 days and two nights, looking after our puppy Bow. We came back to a relaxed, well exercised puppy and a tidy home so we are happy to recommend Laura to everyone.

Lyra enjoyed her stay with Laura. We were a bit late picking her up and Laura was very accommodating. Was happy to do a meet and greet beforehand so we knew lyra was going with someone who will look after her well.
I had to find a dogsitter just the evening before, at short notice. Laura thankfully was able to have her. Laura was very friendly and welcoming and my dog felt very comfortable going into her home. From my messages before meeting Laura and then on meeting her I knew she would lol after my dog and I felt safe leaving her with Laura. I got photos and she was very happy when I picked her up later in the day. Definitely will use Laura again when I'm in the area.
