I’ve had pets all my life and have always had a deep love for animals. Back home, I have two 🐶 (age 13 and 8) and two 🐱 so I’m very comfortable caring for both younger and older pets and understand that every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs. I’ve also looked after dogs on multiple occasions, from regular walks to overnight stays, and I really enjoy getting to know each pet and making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re away from their owners. My boyfriend and I have a spacious home with a big garden, giving dogs plenty of space to relax, play, and enjoy some outdoor time. We’re happy to welcome both dogs and cats for short or longer stays, whether it’s just one night or several days, depending on our availability. Laura took care of our dog, a Welsh Corgi Cardigan, for a weekend at our place. She was very kind and loving with him and he was happy to have her around. She took him for walks, played with him and fed him. I would definitely recommend Laura, as she took good care of our dog and was clear in her communication.
Laura took excellent care of my dog for a whole weekend. My 2 year old dog was happy and he loves her. She played with him and walked with him. She was very open and also easy to talk to. I highly recommend her to take care dogs.
I have two dogs: i) a 7 year old male cocker spaniel and ii) a 2 year old mixed race female. Laura was patient enough to greet them and make them feel comfortable with her, they seemed relaxed and she was very focused on them, so I felt they were going to be safe with her. She is young so it seemed like she was physically up to the task in terms of strength (my female is very strong and pulls a lot).

Schedule
I can care for dogs throughout the day on weekdays (especially Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays as I work remotely), as well throughout the whole weekend. I’m also happy to provide overnight stays, either for one night or multiple nights depending on my schedule. For cats, I can either visit them at your home or, when suitable, they can stay with us at our place on the same available days.

For me, caring for a pet is about more than just feeding them and taking them for walks. I like to spend time with them, understand their personality, have fun with them, ensuring they are safe and feel attended. I take care of your pet the way I’d want someone to care for my own!!
A typical day
A typical day might start with a morning walk, followed by breakfast and some time to relax. Then, depending on their energy and routine, we can have another walk, some playtime or enrichment, followed by plenty of rest. I’ll make sure they’re fed on schedule, taken outside regularly, given attention and playtime, and also have enough quiet time to rest.
