Loving, caring and attentive dog-sitter
I grew up with dogs since early childhood and have taken care of one or two dogs at a time at home, together with other pets, including cats, hamsters, budgies, canary birds, water turtles and goldfish. I have a calm energy around dogs and have been able to gain the trust of nervous and anxious small sized dogs in the past. I have been told I have a very gentle way of petting dogs and I find that this helps soothing and relaxing them. At the same time I am quite active and love to play with energetic dogs and take them on long walks to keep them stimulated during the day. I am happy to work with puppies and help you implementing any training you are working on with your furry baby at the moment. I am a Reiki practitioner and will be happy to give a reiki treatment to your pet if needed.

Safety, trust & environment
I can’t host pets at my place but I always follow any instructions and guidelines from pet owners both when dog-sitting at their homes and when walking their furry friends. I like to have an initial introduction to a new pet with their owners present and I walk them on the lead to begin with. I only let them off the lead when and where it is safe to do so and constantly keep my eyes on them.

Beyond skilled, calm, gentle and knowledgeable. Laura loves puppies and puppies love her. My fearful Bernese got to love her in under 1 min and they enjoyed time together!

Laura really helped us out last minute by agreeing to watch our dog Pluto. She takes such wonderful care of Pluto and was very mindful of how the recent heatwave could affect him (e.g only walked him when temperatures dropped in the evening). We got a couple of good updates throughout the evening with some photos. Thank you Laura!
Laura was fantastic with our 10 month old puppy Pluto who’s full of energy at times! Laura is particularly great at reading Pluto’s emotions and behaviours and tailoring her care appropriately. We didn’t worry at all when she was watching him. Laura also treated our flat with respect when house sitting and provided lots of lovely updates and photos - would definitely recommend her as a dog sitter with great puppy experience:)

Schedule
I am currently self-employed and can look after your pet most days of the week: Mondays until 3pm Wednesdays and Thursdays until approximately 5:30pm, with possible evenings as well if required. Friday from 2pm onwards Saturdays and Sundays anytime
