It’s also helpful to know their energy level, favourite toys, and any training cues or commands you use at home, so I can keep things consistent and comfortable for them. If your pet has a quirky habit or something that helps them feel safe, I’d love to know so I can make their time with me as stress free and happy as possible! Please note, for house sitting I cannot do over 3 days! ❤️
A typical day
I love to keep pets happy and engaged both physically and mentally. Depending on their energy level, we might have with a fun walk around the neighbourhood, letting them sniff and explore new smells. If they enjoy games, we can play fetch, tug-of-war, or gentle brain games with treats. I also like to visit the large park near my home where there’s plenty of space to walk, run, and explore safely. For more relaxed pets, we can have calm petting sessions or slow strolls, so they feel secure and loved.

Pet care experience
I cared for my Labrador, Poppy, for 15 wonderful years, from her playful puppy days to her golden senior years. In her later years, I managed her medications, supported her with mobility challenges, and made sure she was comfortable and happy every day. My experience has taught me patience, attentiveness, and how to spot when a dog needs extra care or reassurance. Whether it’s playtime, a gentle walk, or just companionship, I’ll treat your pet with the same love and respect I gave Poppy.

Laura is someone that simply loves pets and cares for them very much so. Very trustworthy and observant as to what specific instructions you have for your pets. If it's that they need to be fed at a certain time or a certain way (mix in a bit of water or medication with the feeding). You'd be in safe hands to trust your pet with Laura if you choose to hire her.
I have known Laura and her dog Poppy for over a decade now, and can say with all my heart that Laura cares for animals with every fiber of her being. She has loved Poppy since she was a puppy, and has taken care of her throughout every stage of her life. Towards the end of Poppy's life, Laura was her main caretaker and made sure she was as comfortable as she can be, and was diligent in her care for an elderly Poppy. She is dedicated to an animal's comfort and safety, and I trust her completely!!
