Pet Care Experience: My partner and I have extensive experience in veterinary care. I have worked as an emergency vet nursing assistant and student veterinary nurse, while my partner is a qualified veterinarian. We have encountered and worked with a wide variety of animals, and are adept at providing first aid if ever needed. While we love our current jobs, we are particularly passionate about working with animals and would like to extend this passion to our home life. In addition to our professional experience, we currently foster small breed dogs, including pugs, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Dachshunds, and others. We also have our own dog, a female pug named Olive, who was originally a foster dog but has become a permanent member of our family due to our deep affection for her. Therefore, any dogs that stay with us must be dog-friendly as Olive will be helping us insure you have a tired pooch.

Your furry friend will be treated with the same care and attention as our own pets. They will have free range of the house, including the bed, sofa, and garden. Our 4-bedroom home is just a 4-minute drive from the Cotswolds, providing plenty of opportunities for scenic walks. For less mobile dogs, there is a playing field a 9-minute walk (2-minute drive) from our house. We generally keep dogs on a leash for safety, however, we can accommodate off leash time in some enclosed dog-friendly fields nearby upon request.

We have rebooked Laura again after she looked after 3 cats couple of times now. During our time away, Laura sent daily updates with photos and videos, which put our minds at ease. We returned to found our cats happy and relaxed - clearly well cared for. We highly recommend Laura to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring cat sitter.
Laura has been absolutely wonderful with our cat (Hades), who needed some visits while we were away attending to a family situation. She clearly takes the time during her visits to ensure that pets are comfortable and well looked after. It was a lovely touch to receive videos and photos of our cat while we were gone, which gave us peace of mind. We've had no issues with Laura's visits, and overall, we're very pleased with her service. The only reason we couldn't quite give 5 stars is not due to Laura herself, but an instance where another person handled one of the visits on Laura's behalf, which was pre-agreed. Unfortunately, during one of their visits, there was a mix-up with the timing and movement detection on our cat camera showed the visit as being particularly brief and inconsistent with the level of care that Laura provides during her visits. However, we've discussed this with Laura, and we're confident that she will address it for the future.

Harmonogram
Schedule: I work part time as an evening vet nursing assistant at an emergency veterinary clinic on a one-week-on, one-week-off basis. During my week off, I provide doggy day care and boarding, which is already scheduled in my diary. My partner, who is a qualified veterinarian, works during the day at a veterinary clinic from Monday to Friday. We are open to caring for pets with medical needs, such as diabetes.
