Hi! I’m Laura, and I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for well over 10 years. I’ve cared for my own pets as well as family, friends’, and neighbours’ animals, and I’ve had experience with a wide variety of dog breeds and personalities, including small breeds, large guardian breeds and high-energy herding breeds. I'm the type to occasionally and very casually (and safely) cross the street to ask if I can pet your dog. I’m responsible, active, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I’d love to help keep your pets happy and comfortable at home, out on a walk, or just by checking in. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

House sitting is my favourite way to care for pets because I know how much easier it can be for them to stay in their own home and follow their usual routine while their people are away. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual needs, whether that means an energetic walk, plenty of fetch or playtime, a quiet companion for a shy cat, or simply keeping an older dog comfortable and settled.

Laura is great!! She’s looked after my senior (and sassy) dachshund. She took the time to get to know her and her temperament. Dash typically takes time to warm up to people but she was instantly in love with Laura. She’s been extremely helpful when I am in need of a dog sitter. I leave Dash with Laura, knowing that she is in great hands and that she will get the same love from Laura that she does from me. I completely trust her with any pet. I would highly recommend her for any pet parent.
I have had several dogsitters for my dog, Ruby. Laura is by far her favourite. She always greets her with a wagging tail and a smile - which could be mistaken for a snarl if you didn't know her better! Ruby is an anxious girl, and Laura gets her. I feel good leaving her in Laura's care - knowing that she will get good walks, and lots of love. Laura has tons of common sense, and I am confident that she could deal with any situation that could come up. She has helped me out with a couple of longer vacations. Schedule
I’m a mature student in a hybrid program, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend a lot of time with the pets in my care. I’m happy to follow your routines and instructions closely, and I understand that caring for your home is part of the responsibility too. I’ll treat your space with the same care and respect I give your animals.
