My name is Laura and I am a lifelong animal lover having been surrounded by dogs from a very young age. I am experienced with a wide variety of breeds and sizes, as well as various ages ranging from puppies to elderly dogs. I recently said goodbye to my family pet of 15 years and so I understand the extra care and attention an elderly pup needs. I also have experience in caring for rescue pets with nervous and scared temperaments, making them feel at ease as best as I can! I have a BSc Veterinary Biosciences degree from the University of Glasgow and worked as an animal technician for 3 years. I also gained animal care experience through voluntary work for the Cats Protection League and as a veterinary assistant, caring for sick pets and monitoring behavioural patterns and administering medication when required. My fiance Keith has been helping me with Rover since I set up my profile in December 2022 and he absolutely loves it! He has also grown up surrounded by dogs and now has plenty of experience using Rover and taking care of our Rover clients.
