Hi, I’m Laura! I’ve lived in Wethersfield for over 25 years, and caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. Being around pets genuinely makes me happy, and spending time with them brings a sense of calm and joy that I really value. Over the years, I’ve helped care for many cats and dogs for friends, family, and neighbors, including large breed dogs, senior pets, and homes with multiple pets. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, or caring for pets while families are away on vacation, I know how important it is to have someone you truly trust caring for your animals. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, and I always take the time to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and loved while you’re away. I’m comfortable giving medications, managing multiple pets, and handling different energy levels and temperaments. Most importantly, I treat every pet with the same care and attention I’d want for my own. I also know how much peace of mind updates can bring, so I’m always happy to send photos and check-in messages so you know your pets are doing well and getting lots of love and attention. When your pets are with me, I want you to be able to truly relax knowing they’re in kind, caring, and dependable hands. I absolutely love meeting new furry friends! Laura is terrific. My pooch took to her quickly. She spent a lot of time with her during her visits. Laura kept me informed with comments and pics from every visit. Will definitely choose her again in the future.
Laura was an absolutely wonderful pet sitter, and I’m so grateful I found her on Rover. She took incredible care of my dog, Cypress, and gave me such peace of mind while I was away. She treated him like he was her own, and I can’t express how thankful I am. She even put on pet TV at night so he wouldn’t feel lonely. I’m beyond appreciative — and I will definitely be hiring her again.

Laura was amazing with our babies! Our senior dog is picky about where he poops and Laura gave him nice long walks so he could poop! She also did great with our kitties, our two cats are still getting acclimated to eachother and she was super accommodating with them. Se encouraged more positive interactions with them by giving them treats and played with their toy with them. She was super communicative and went beyond for our little fur family!
Laura was awesome! She took great care of my elderly cat while I was away for the holiday weekend. Gave her lots of enrichment and sent pictures to make us feel good about being away from her. I will 100% book with Laura again when needed!

I have availability for dog walks and pet check ins Monday through Friday between 7:00am and 8:00pm and on the weekends from 9:00am - 7:00pm.
