Hi, I’m Laura — and if you’re feeling guilty or anxious about leaving your dog, you’re not alone. Before I joined Rover, I couldn’t imagine trusting a stranger with my own dog. The idea gave me knots in my stomach. So I completely understand the fear and hesitation, and that’s why I go out of my way to be the sitter I would have wanted. This isn’t just a side gig for me. I truly love dogs, and I’ve built my service around making sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for like family. No crates, no chaos. Just a real home with real attention, belly rubs, soft beds, and someone who learns what makes your pup feel comfortable. Whether your dog needs a calm place to decompress, a structured routine, or a buddy to throw the ball 87 times in a row, I’m all in. I adapt to their personality, keep their routine consistent, and make sure they feel seen, loved, and never alone. I go above and beyond because I know your dog isn’t “just a dog.” They’re your heart, your sidekick, your family, and I treat them that way. You’ll get updates, photos, and messages to help you breathe easier while you’re away. And your pup will be loved like they belong here, because while they’re with me, they do.

Laura took excellent care of Pippa while we were away. She made an effort to understand our preferences and stuck to Pippa's routine as much as possible. Laura also sent daily updates which gave me further peace of mind during my trip. Pippa can't wait to come back to stay with Laura again!

Schedule
I don’t currently have any pets of my own, so your pet will get my full attention. I have a safe, secure home with a fully fenced yard and a calm environment that’s great for all kinds of pups — whether they’re active or more laid-back. I can crate if needed and always follow your pet’s routine to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away.

I’m available for overnight boarding any day of the week and have a flexible part-time schedule that allows me to prioritize your dog’s care. While I don’t offer daytime-only care, I’m great at adapting to your pup’s routine and making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for throughout their stay.
A typical day
Your pup will have room to roam, play, and relax! I have a large, open 3,000 sq ft home and a big backyard that’s perfect for fetch, sunbathing, or sniffing around. We’ll go on walks through my quiet neighborhood and explore a nearby park too. I mix active play with calm downtime, based on your dog’s personality and energy.
