Please see my website at laura the cat nanny dot com. I am headquartered in Durham, NC. I have many years of professional cat nanny experience. For live-in requests: I need a smoke-free, perfume-free space with a real bed/mattress. I don’t commit to a live-in arrangement without seeing the space first—either via Zoom, photos, or an in-person visit. Rover only shows a general map area which often ends up being much further out, so I’ll need at least a nearby landmark or major cross street before I consider scheduling anything. I’m sure there are folks out there who may be fine committing without knowing the space, but I’m not one of them.

Laura was great with our senior cat who requires medication 2x/day. We appreciated Laura sharing photos and daily updates on how he was doing. He was well cared for on his vacation with Laura while we were out of town!
Laura was wonderful taking care of my very shy/skittish cat, Andi. I just moved to the area and unfortunately had a trip booked a couple weeks after first moving in, so the adjustment was very difficult for Andi. Laura graciously accepted my request to stop in twice/day to check on her, and she also confirmed with me that Andi was accounted for once I made it back from my trip (that means everything to a cat parent as we all know!).
