I’ve loved and cared for dogs and cats for 18+ years. I grew up with dogs, raised two of my own, and spent years fostering animals through NYC shelters — so caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. I provide a warm, loving home-away-from-home where every pet is treated like my own. Because no two dogs are alike, I tailor their stay around their individual personality, routine, energy level, and needs, whether that means long neighborhood walks and plenty of playtime, or a slower pace with lots of cuddles and quiet time. In my home, I create a calm, cozy environment with lots of one-on-one attention, enrichment, affection, and even a little puppy relaxation/meditation time for pups who enjoy winding down and getting extra TLC. My goal is simple: for your pet to feel safe, loved, relaxed, and completely spoiled while you’re away, and for you to have total peace of mind knowing they’re being cared for like family. 🐾 PS - I took some time off for work but have returned to full time fur baby sitting.

Yogi had the best time ever with Laura. She was so responsive and professional leading up to daycare, and I was nervous because Yogi can be high maintenance with his allergies and walks. She was super flexible with drop off and pick up times. Yogi had the BEST time with her. She sent so many pictures of him smiling and having fun and being treated with so much love!! We will definitely be using Laura again!!!

Laura took great care of my pup Alfie while we were out for an event. We appreciated all the photos she sent us throughout the night. Most importantly, Alfie looked like he was having a lot of activity and fun. I highly recommend Laura and would book her again.

Schedule
I am a full-time animal sitter so your fur babies will get 100% of my time and attention. All my work is individualized care so whether it’s daycare, walks and/or overnight, your pet will get all the love, cuddles, playtime, and exercise they deserve. I work with small to medium dogs when hosting at my home. If your pup will be at daycare, and others will be there: I ensure your pups size, age, breed, and temperament align with the others. My partner, who has worked with dogs for 15 years, works from home, and helps me out with things like pickup and drop off.

I also love to cuddle with my animals (if they like!), have dog beds, and allow them on the beds with me (if they prefer). We don’t believe in using crates, we use positive reinforcement for puppies that are learning to go potty, and I provide a “helicopter mom” approach when caring for my animals, which means, I am always with them and never take my eyes off them. A typical day
Your pups will have a blast at our home! We will also take them out on our large rooftop, for off-leash fun (case by case basis), and have lots cuddles and playtime.
