I have a warm heart for cold noses
I've been loving on animals for as long as I can remember, but "professionally" it started 15 years ago when I volunteered at the SPCA. I've seen and learned a ton about taking care of our furry friends. Plus, I've got a soft spot for brachy breeds, so I know exactly how to handle those adorable squishy-faced pups. Speaking of which, I've got a French Bulldog of my own, so I know firsthand the ins and outs of caring for them. But here's where I really shine: I've worked closely with a trainer to help our reactive dog, an APBT, and boy, has he come a long way! I've picked up some amazing tips and tricks along the way for dealing with reactive behavior. I'm confident in my ability to handle animals of all breeds and sizes, even those ones that can add a bit of challenge. So, if you want a dog sitter who's got the experience, the know-how, and the love for pups, I'm your person. Your furry friend will be in great hands with me, promise!

While I do not care for pets in my home, I will be happy to treat them as they are mine in yours. During a drop-in visit, prepare for a pet extravaganza like no other! First things first, I'll make sure your furry pal's food and water bowls are fully stocked. No empty bowls on my watch! Then, get ready for the ultimate playtime session. I'll unleash my inner pet whisperer, engaging them in a hilarious game of fetch, feather chase, or even a round of "hide-and-seek the treat" (where treats mysteriously appear in the most unexpected places). If your pet is up for it, we might even indulge in some paw-some belly rubs and ear scratches. But wait, there's more! During walks, we'll embark on thrilling adventures that will have your pet's tail wagging with excitement. Whether we're strolling through the neighborhood or exploring nearby parks, we'll sniff out all the most interesting scents and leave no fire hydrant unmarked (for informational purposes, of course). I've got a knack for finding the best stick to fetch or the perfect patch of grass to roll around in. And if your pup has a sense of humor, I might even unleash my "punny" side, delivering the finest doggy jokes along the way to keep them entertained. Trust me, your pet won't just have a walk; they'll have a "howling" good time! So, get ready for drop-ins that are more fun than a game of "squeaky toy Olympics" and walks that will have tails wagging in pure joy. Anyone who knows Laura , knows that she is an animal lover! She is an amazing fur mama to her own dogs, always going above and beyond for them, providing them a very comfortable lifestyle and always making sure to include enrichment activities to keep them engaged. Being around animals makes her happy, and it makes them happy too! She gives them the time and attention we all wish that we could! On a professional level, Laura is someone who I always know I can count on. I can say without any doubt, she is reliable, attentive, and trustworthy.
Laura has been a loving dog mom for as long as I've known her, well over a decade. She absolutely loves dogs and shows so much care and empathy working with her own fur babies and those of others. She's intuitive and inviting and taught me, an unrelenting cat person, how to connect with doggo personalities and enjoy them. Laura has also taken the initiative to learn gentle training techniques and has extensive knowledge about how to engage dogs of all temperaments. She's the right person to care for every dog.

Schedule
I work full-time but have a hybrid schedule, I'm in-office two days a week, always a Tuesday, the second day is flexible. When I am at my home office I am typically available various times of the day around meetings on my calendar.
