Aloha, my name is Laura. I have a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and have been pet sitting for 22 years. I offer medication administration (oral & injections), nail trims, basic grooming, baths, subcutaneous fluids, anal gland expressions. I am especially familiar with diabetics, hyperthyroidism, renal failure and other metabolic issues. I am retired so I have all day to spend with your four-legged child but if you have a special needs or geriatric I will modify.

Laura was great! She had her hands full with our 3 dogs but they seemed comfortable and she handled it with ease!
Laura is warm and professional! She clearly loves animals. She took great care of our senior pup who has lots of quirks! It was very comforting knowing Laura was with him. She kept our place tidy and was communicative and caring!

Schedule
I first gather information of your typical daily routine: diet, exercise, medications (quantity and frequency). I will mimic the routine unless your fur baby needs extra walks/hikes/play time. We have a lot of land and a river but if your dog is geriatric/post-op/sprinter this will be modified or eliminated.

As stated above I assess every dog (age, behaviors, medical conditions, etc) and modify the safety of the environment to each individual. I specialize in special needs and geriatrics.

A typical day
I love to walk or hike and live on lots of land to throw a ball to get that energy going! If we are disabled or geriatric I offer physical therapy.
