I specialize in cat and dog care in the client's home and will always abide by the rules set for your animal & property. This includes respecting your privacy, not letting your cat outside (if indoor only), and keeping your property secure (e.g., locking doors, and never bringing strangers with me). For dogs, I will listen to you and follow instructions for how you want your dog to be cared for. I treat people's homes and animals as I want mine to be treated. Also, I love to send lots of pictures in the Rover Cards!

For dogs: -We can broadly discuss any behavioral or medical issues such as reactivity and any other special concerns. -How does your dog walk on a leash? -Is your dog a resource guarder? -Does your dog have any allergies or special diet?
A typical day
When possible, I prefer to do a meet and greet ahead of time, so that we can talk about any of your concerns/requests, and I can meet your cat or dog. For cat care, I love to play and hang out with the little fur-balls! My cat enjoys hunting toys, and I can keep your cat entertained in the same way! If there are any special needs or requests for your cats, I can work with you to ensure quality care for your feline friend.

Services: -Drop-in visits for dogs, cats or small animals such as bunnies, guinea pigs etc. (30min per visit unless otherwise agreed upon) -$16/30 min or $32/60 min flat rate for cats (additional charge for dogs) -$17/30 min on holidays unless previously agreed Other services (for no additional charge): -Check mail and take in packages -Water plants -Feed fish -Other similar household tasks. About Me: -Adoptive mom to rescue cats and dogs -Frequent foster mom to rescue cats through City Kitties DC -Long-time volunteer with animal rescue & shelters (5+ years of experience) -Started working in pet care (house-sitting, drop-ins, and walking dogs) a long time ago and recently reopened my Rover! -Comfortable providing oral pills, and topical ointments (NOT a professional -- no veterinarian training). I have done injections but please note that I have no professional veterinary training. I know that you must love your animal like family, and you want the best care of them when you can't be there yourself. I strive to provide you with the best service, and my goal is to make you and your furbaby happy, and to maintain the comfort and safety of your animal at all times while she or he is in my care.
