Hi there! I'm Laura - an animal lover and hospice social worker living in Central Phoenix, looking to fill my extra time with cuddles with your fur baby. I have 10+ years of experience caring for pets of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments, and have quickly become my social circle's go-to pet sitter. I have extensive experience with pets requiring a little extra care (administering pills, topicals, ear drops, special diets), as well as varying physical abilities/diagnoses (senior dogs, arthritis, vision or hearing impairments). I volunteer monthly at the Animal Humane Society, where I take dogs on field trips to give them a break from the shelter environment and provide positive socialization, while helping them showcase their personalities to potential adopters. I will always care for your beloved fur baby as if they were my own, and strive to establish long-lasting relationships with both you and your pet!

Laura is amazing with Rosie! I trust her completely — she cares for Rosie the exact same way I would, with so much attention and love. She always sticks to Rosie’s routine and schedule, so there’s never any disruption. She’s incredibly gentle and handles Rosie with so much care, which means a lot since Rosie’s a senior pup. What really sets her apart is how communicative she is — I get regular photo updates throughout the visit/stay, so I always know Rosie’s happy and doing well. It gives me total peace of mind leaving Rosie in her hands. I can’t recommend her enough!

Schedule
I am a hospice social worker with a hybrid work schedule, offering plenty of free time to spend with your furry friend. My workday typically requires me to be away from home for about 4 hours each day; however, I have Thursdays off and spend most of my evenings and weekends at home.

My home does not accept pets; however, I am very comfortable providing drop-ins and/or staying overnight in your home as needed to ensure your pet remains in a familiar environment.
A typical day
A typical day with the pets I watch includes plenty of cuddles, attention, and activity! I really enjoy going on walks, so I'm always happy to get outside and explore with your pet. Depending on their energy level and personality, we might go for a nice neighborhood walk, play with their favorite toys, or simply relax and enjoy some quality couch time together. I’ll make sure your pet feels comfortable, cared for, and gets plenty of attention throughout the day. My goal is to make their time with me fun, safe, and as close to their normal routine as possible!
