Vacation home for your pet
My family and I are avid dog lovers. We recently lost our 10 yr old Doberman due to heart failure and we are not quite ready to adopt another dog, but we miss having one in the house. I am a stay at home mom with a husband who works part time from home and 2 high school age kids in the house. I have a medical profession background and experience caring for puppies, dogs that require medical assistance as well as geriatric dogs. I look forward to going for long walks in the hills or down to Starbucks for treats with your pup. I'd be happy to send you pics and videos of your pets stay with us and answer any questions you may have.

If you're looking for someone to care for your dog as though your pet was hers, look no further than Laura. After a brief meet-and-greet, my wife and I left our elderly dog, Alfie, with Laura and her family for four nights, and it couldn't have been a better experience. From the moment we dropped him off, it was clear Alfie was in loving, capable hands. Laura and her family welcomed Alfie so warmly, giving him plenty of affection, attention, and excellent care. Laura was also incredibly accommodating with all of our requests regarding Alfie's feeding, walking, and other routines, which gave us real peace of mind. Throughout his stay, she sent us lots of photos and updates. Seeing how happy, relaxed, and content Alfie was made us rather content ourselves. I can't recommend Laura highly enough. We've already recommended her to friends and will absolutely trust her with Alfie again. Five stars don't seem like enough. She deserves ten.
My two girls stayed with Laura and her family recently. They were vey well taken care. Laura provided good supervision, plenty of exercise and a lot of TLC. She treated them like family and sent updates with photos and videos. It's hard to leave fur babies somewhere new, but I felt very at ease with Laura and will certainly book a stay with her again in the future. Thank you! :)

Schedule
I work a few times a month and am very flexible in my hours. I have a medical profession background and knowledgeable in CPR and first aid and comfortable administering oral and injectable medications.

Safety, trust & environment
There is a gated backyard with plenty of sunny lounging spots as well as a shaded and fenced dog run. There is also a doggie door with collar remote access if you would like your pet to have the freedom to come and go. A large crate can also be provided if your pet feels more secure in that, otherwise we have large dog beds throughout the house.
A typical day
My typical pet routine consists of a morning feeding around 6/630am followed by a brisk walk in the hills of Encino/Tarzana. Your pet would then be free to relax or play in the house or gated backyard while under supervision. Additional walks would happen in the afternoons followed by an evening meal around 6pm. I will treat your pet as one of my own and accommodate any feeding or medication schedule.
