I do Rover full-time! I am available for housesitting, drop-in visits, and walks; please feel free to reach out, even if it's same-day. AND -- now offering boarding + day care! So here's the thing. That older tripod boxer I have? She taught me every. single. lesson. a person needs to know to keep their dog safe. I am constantly scanning for other dogs, prey, physical obstacles etc. during walks and play time. I practice safe introductions whether or not your animal is familiar with the other animal we may encounter (neighbor, etc) because I'm also aware that their behavior might change from how they behave with their parent vs me! I think it's important your animal sees no change in their environment as far as trust/safety--their routine should stay exactly the same, if not with the addition of some more adventures!

I recently moved back to Oceanside, but have walked/petsat all of the furry/feathered friends full-time on Rover for a year in Colorado! Amazing experience! This was my first time using Rover and had resorted to it after our house/dog sitter’s car was stolen a day before we needed her for five days. I connected with Laura and she responded right away. She won our big husky/pit mix over in one visit! He is always very hesitant and shy when a new person comes to check on him and let him out. She was very patient with him and by visit two and onward he was begging for cuddles at the end of each visit. Laura communicated well and took excellent care of our dog and home. I had such relief on my trip knowing our pup was in such awesome hands! Will be booking with Laura again!
