I am especially interested in dog walking but I can keep animals at my home as well. I have an acre of land. My husband and I have 2 chickens that roam or are caged as necessary. We have no other pets. I also take care of my friend's houses/mail/cats/plants/kids, etc. I enjoy caring for others. My husband has experience with snakes and bats and all kinds of creatures! Me, just the usual: cat, dog, bunny, rodents, fish, and abandoned wild babies.

Is your dog comfortable with other dogs or people passing by? Will he respond to his name called by someone other than you? Can I give him treats? How far is he capable of walking? We might need some time to get to know each other before we set off.

I love the woods and hills. I am a bird watcher and state certified mushroom forager, happy to bring a furry friend into the parks and fields for as long as you'd like, or reinforce his training in cityscapes (Will search for ticks if necessary).

I have a way with animals and I love being outside. I also fear no 💩. I am reliable and have many friends who can vouch for my child/pet/house-sitting/mess fixing skills. (Happy to answer any questions you may have, too). If you are willing to give me a try I will do my considerable best to make you and your pet relaxed, happy, and confident. I love walking and I don't own a dog or cat myself anymore, so your animal would be great for me to love all up!

Laura truly helped us out in a pinch when our original plans fell through. I am so grateful for taking us on again despite having “challenging” cats. She is a genius when it comes to working around our one cat’s special needs and the other’s temperament.
Laura was a great walker! Our doggy gets nervous about new people and she was able to make her comfortable each time.
Laura is fantastic! She took care of my pets for a full week, as if they were her own. I love that she included photos with her daily visits (my dog was smiling in every picture and my cat loved her). Laura kept me updated on their well-being and eased my mind each day, allowing me to really enjoy my vacation. I would hire her again without hesitation!
Laura went above and beyond. We have a special needs cat who is picky about eating when we’re away, but she figured out ways to get her to eat. If she had any concerns she contacted us. I would totally trust her again in the future with our cats.
