Hidden Paradise
We live in Essex Vermont, on 13.15 acres of land. Our house is hidden up in the woods and is not near any busy intersections. We are an active family that spends a lot of time outdoors and go for daily walks in the woods. Dogs MUST be reliable off leash. We adapt our home to the needs of our house guest, and are able to accommodate most requests. Currently we have a 6 year old golden doodle who is welcoming. We are a busy house and strive to have your pet become one of the family. We request that dogs are friendly with small children, other dogs and house trained :) Our home is a great atmosphere for dogs who like to be with a family and have the freedom to walk off leash. We have many returning clients and make sure that all dogs personalities are a good fit. We do require meet n-greets before all stays to make sure it is a good fit for all. Due to the nature of our business we will not be doing any meet n greets if your dog shows dominance or aggression. Please note if you are traveling into town we cannot reserve a booking till we do a meet n greet. Depending on location can pick up/drop off. Additional $10 fee. I work from home two days a week. On work days we go for walks before work and we we get home. We do ensure the dogs get out 1-2 times a day on the days I work. We are completely off leash, we live in the woods. Dogs must be reliable off leash- great atmosphere for dogs who like to romp around with other dogs and kids. We treat your dog as one of our own and truly believe in giving all dogs love

Our dog had the time of his life. Laura was communicative and friendly. Extremely happy with his stay.
Laura was a fantastic caregiver to our puppy this last nine days. Our girl fit right in with her little pack of very sweet dogs. Her Fi collar verified that she got a maximum amount of steps during her visit. Laura communicated with us and sent pictures while we were gone. She ate better this time around then stays elsewhere while we were gone. When I arrived to pick up Rosie she gave me a lovely happy greeting and then promptly ran away to go play with her new pack. She was obviously very happy to be there and very comfortable. This is a doggy paradise! Highly recommend.
Laura was great! She sent photo updates and our pup came home happy and tired, the perfect combo!
Bodie loved his stay at Laura’s! Laura was very accommodating, sent updates and made Bodie feel at home. All of the property and woods is great to have the pups run around off leash, perfect for an energetic dog like Bodie.
Laura was easy to work with and accommodating to changes.
Bella had a great time at Laura’s place. She went home tired and napping a lot.

Schedule
We typically go for walks in the morning, mid day and afternoon. Dogs are out often throughout the day. Dogs sleep where they would typically at home for the night.

We have lots of play time outside and socialize with the other dogs at our home and kids. I am very selective on my packs and make sure that all dogs who are staying here have personalities that allow them to be in a home with multiple dogs and kids.
