Dog walking: avaliable for small dogs or dogs who walk well on a leash, for short walks. Pet Sitting: I love animals, currently have a cat, and am a past and future dog owner. I have been pet sitting for my friends and family since I was a teenager, because I am a huge animal lover. Along with general knowledge of cats and dogs, I have experience with senior dogs and senior cats. I am also experieced with giving medications, with anxious animals, animals with chronic pain, and blind dogs. Experienced in giving insulin injections.I am also experienced in surgery after-care procedures and needs. I would love to get to know your pets needs and provide them in a loving, calm environment (but I can be stern when needed). Before I was put on disability I worked with children with special needs. During this work, I also taught and performed massage on babies as well as massage for children with special needs. I use this knowledge and use it to give animals relaxing massage.i am also a certified Reiki practitioner. I bring my knowledge and skills in these to working with my own and others' animals. I am just learning how to perform some movement therapy to help my senior dog age. I am ready to help you with your pets care and looking forward to showering them with love and attention.

I might have to dart out for an appointment or two but my focus will mostly will be at your place. I can either stay at your home full time, or have visits and leave in the evening. Whichever is fine, though my preference is to stay, depending on the animals needs.

Laura did an awesome job looking after our two cats and house while we were gone! Very conscientious and communicated each day which was very comforting.
Laura was very professional and took my needs and wishes for my cat seriously. She kept me updated with pictures throughout, which gave me so much peace of mind. My main priority was making sure my fur baby got all the love and attention she deserved, and Laura absolutely delivered! She also left my home neat, tidy, and exactly as I left it — if not better. I would definitely hire her again for cat and house sitting.
I wouldn't even think of leaving Molly in anyone else's care! All of Molly's needs are looked after very well by Laura. She even brought toys to keep Molly entertained. This was the longest I had left her (2 weeks). Laura sent pics and I could see she was well and liked Laura. Great service by a caring cat-lover!
Laura was great with my pets! She communicated often and clearly gave them lots of her time and attention. I came home to content and happy cats. I got lots of cute photos too, an excellent bonus! I would absolutely recommend Laura and will be contacting her again in the future.
From the moment we met Laura we knew she was the perfect fit for our fur babies. She provided attentive care to Ojo, Kitchu and LoLo. I was concerned about LoLo as she was a rescue and very shy. She surprised us all by coming out from hiding the second day Laura was there. Laura provided photos daily and showered them with love and attention. What a gift to know your pets are so well cared for and we could rest assured they were loved. We will absolutely have Laura as our pet sitter again. I highly recommend her. Johanna and Peter
Laura cared for our senior kitty while we were out of province for an extended period. As well as being a senior kitty, he has diabetes and needs insulin shots twice a day. She took such great care of him. She was very attentive, letting us know if she noticed any changes in our kitty's behavior, was always responsive, and was extremely reliable, which made the world of a difference in peace of mind. She went above and beyond in caring for him, and we would highly recommend Laura if you are seeking a sitter, including for senior cats with some special medical needs. On top of taking great care of our cat, she made sure the house was clean for our return.

Schedule
I have been on disability for the last 12 years on a journey through disease and chronic pain. Pet sitting for my people is something that brings me joy. I have a flexible schedule that allows plenty of time for me to shower your babies in attention and love.
