I’m currently working from home as a post-graduate student researcher, where I work within my own schedule and have flexible working times. This means I am able to prioritise the needs of my dog and any others within my care. I schedule my day around the dog, allowing them to lead and will always fit in a daily walk, routine meal times and multiple opportunities for play, rest and cuddles.

I have a fenced and enclosed back garden with a dog friendly house, situated in a friendly neighbourhood. I have my own fur baby who is friendly and sociable, to keep yours company during their stay. Furthermore, our neighbourhood is filled with friendly and sociable dogs who we regularly meet whilst out walking and will happily welcome your fur baby to our area. I am able to accommodate crates, if this is what your fur baby is used to and have multiple areas within the home where this can be set up to provide comfortable and relaxing spaces for your fur baby.

Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm with three border collie crosses and a variety of other animals. My extended family’s dogs were also frequent visitors and ranged from small breeds to large working breeds. This gave me knowledge and experience working with dogs of different intelligences, activity levels and needs. Furthermore, I helped care for all my border collies from puppies to elderly with all three living to ages 11, 13 and 16. Giving me experience and knowledge from initial puppy training to caring for dogs with poor health and additional needs. Currently I am the proud mum of a miniature labradoodle puppy who is extremely social with both dogs and people. She lives with myself and my Dad in our 4 bedroom house with enclosed and secured garden. We are situated near Loughor estuary where I walk daily and have several dog friendly pubs, cafes and parks nearby. Your fur baby will be welcomed into our home and spoiled as badly as mine! You’ll feel safe knowing that as you enjoy your holiday, your dog will be on their’s too. Being well looked after and having an amazing time, I’ll even send you regular pupdates to put your mind at ease.
Reviews
I have know Laura for many years and in that time she has always been around dogs, whether her own or family and friends pooches. She is a natural dog lover and the feeling is always mutual! Laura helped look after our GSD puppy when we first had him and was excellent with him, including helping with his puppy training. I could see how much she invested in him and how understanding of his needs she was. She also had no issues looking after our juvenile Dogue de Bordeaux at the same time. She is honest, reliable and crazy about dogs, so I have no problem recommending Laura, regardless of size and number of pooches that would be in her care.
Laura has grown up around many pets from a young age, always loving and caring for them as early as I can remember. To this day she still has the same affection for all animals, especially dogs. She is as kind, friendly, caring and responsible to anybody else’s pets like she is and always has been towards her own. She already sits at the top of the list for a pet sitter for any friends & family should they need one, she’s there without fail and they pets always love her.
Laura grew up around animals and was raised alongside three beautiful border collie dogs. Laura has always been raised with the ethos that dogs are family and deserve a comfortable life. For Laura, I know she has taken this belief further and believes that dogs don’t just deserve comfort but security, stability and respect. No different to children in your care. As an adult, Laura still has a passion for animals and continues to share her life with dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits and more. Even learning to care for exotic animals, Koalas, Kangaroo’s and Elephants whilst travelling. She has recently adopted her own fur-baby Honey, who she has been raising since she was 14 weeks old. Now almost 13 months, Honey has been raised to be a kind, friendly and sociable dog. Who, like her mum, will happily welcome animals of all kinds into their home. Honey especially loves when Laura dog sits and enjoys nothing more than playing with a new friend for a day or longer! Laura is also a psychologist and is training Honey to become a paediatric therapy dog. This means Honey is well trained, quick to learn and can stay calm in stressful or high energy situations and environments. Allowing her to be sociable with both anxious dogs and puppies. Anyone who knows Laura will know how much she cared for her childhood dogs and how she treats Honey no different to if she were a human child. Laura knows better than most that dogs and animals don’t live forever so always tries to make the most of each day she gets to spend with them. On top of this, Laura has experience of farm animals, animals with additional health needs and has helped care for her dogs in their old age. Giving Laura excellent knowledge and experience of a variety of species, breeds and ages.
