Hello! I grew up with lots of animals in my life including dogs, so have had plenty of experience with them and their care. Although I now only have my guinea pigs, I often look after friends' dogs and cats. As someone who both has animals as well as looks after other people's, I put a lot of care and attention into pet welfare. I truly love animals, being around them and the most important thing to me is their health and happiness. I understand how important it is to have peace of mind while away. I look to provide quality care and following normal routines so that your pets are kept as content as possible. I'd also be very happy to offer care to non-cat/dog pets. :)

I really appreciate instructions on how best to look after your pet as you know best. Otherwise, I will spend lots of time including cuddles and playing with your pet, ensure that they are fed and well looked after, as well as regular breaks outside and walks. I can provide regular updates and photos throughout the day so that you feel reassured! Please note that I have caged guinea pigs in the living room. While dogs are at my house, they will be kept out of the living room. I am also in the process of safeguarding the garden so dogs will remain on lead for outside time until then.

We secured our booking after a meet & greet where Gin and Laura seemed happy with each other ahead of her full day stay a few days later. Laura was very amenable, flexible and friendly with Gin and us humans. I would be very happy to contact Laura again when I visit my daughter in Hassocks. Thank you for enabling our day trip to London.
Laura is a lovely lady who opened up her home for my very anxious "Essie" while I was in hospital. Unfortunately my little shadow dogs separation anxiety was awful and she missed me terribly. And this made it very hard work for Laura, the only pleasure enjoyed by her was the daily walks. I thank her for keeping it together for the duration and hope this has not put her off having dogs in the future.
Laura looked after our cat Bob for a week while me and my partner were away. She went above and beyond our expectations. The updates and pictures of Bobby were great. It was reassuring to know he was in such great hands! Couldn’t recommend her enough, we will definitely be asking Laura to come back when we next go away.
Joey had a trial day at Laura’s as he is not used to going to a dogsitter. Laura was very accommodating and he seemed happy (he is quite nervous with strangers). We will have a few more individual days before our big holiday in march.

Schedule
I am able to pop in to walk/check on pets throughout the day, and am often available evenings and weekends. I spend most of my time at home so have lots of time to spend with any boarders.
