Pet sitting is my only job. I retired from working in the veterinary hospital at a fairly early age so I can devote all my time to this. I have a few established clients but I definitely have time for more. I’m very flexible.

About Laura C.
Cat skills
Safety, trust & environment
I make sure to do things on the pets terms. I have to remember that at first I am a stranger to them. Cats particularly take a while to warm up. My job is to make sure all their needs are met and that they are healthy and safe. I’m very careful to keep doors closed to prevent a pet getting loose I’m also very cautious about dietary needs.
Information Laura C. would like to know about your pet
I like to know about personality, what they like or don’t like, dietary needs, medication and what kind of schedule they are on so that I can keep the pet calm and content.
A typical day
When a cat warms up to me I love to play with them on the ground with interactive toys. I’ve been known to to surprise them with a new toy! I always talk a lot to any animal that is in my care.

Experienced Cat Sitter Available
Cat care experience
Although new to Rover, I have been pet sitting cats for many years. I provide daily drop ins to feed, clean litter box and spend quality time with my new furry friend. Cats are less stressed being at home versus a boarding facility while their owners are away. I will always treat every pet as if they were my own. My experience comes from my time spent working in the cat adoption room at PetSmart and working for 8 years in a veterinary office. I have references upon request.
