Availability
Ash currently works Monday to Friday 8:30am til 5pm in Malton. I work Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm in schools in York. For this reason, half terms and school holidays would be the only time I would be around during the week to ensure that no pet was left alone for too long a time. The service I work for is an all year round service, so I may still be working in the holidays, however this is from home so I will be around. Otherwise we are often around on weekends and would mark ourselves down as unavailable if we have plans. We would also be available on evenings after work to walk your pet, if we had sufficient notice of when this would be needed.

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a semi-detached bungalow and have a fenced private garden which ensures all pets safety, and allows them regular access outside. We have had many pets stay inside our home, whether they sleep in a crate or not. We would ask to have any information for a pet’s veterinary service when you leave them with us in case of emergencies. We thankfully have never had to use any veterinary details before but this would just be for emergencies.

Information Laura C. would like to know about your pet
If your pet has a set routine, we would love to know that so we can stick to that as much as possible, ensuring consistency for your pet. Any allergies they have is also very important for us to know, as well as where you prefer them to sleep, and what they eat.
A typical day
We love to take dogs on lead walks round our area, as we live close by to lots of lovely walks, including woods and enclosed dog fields. If you’re happy with us letting your dog off the lead, we can let them off in dog fields and also the racecourse, which isn’t far away from us. We also like to play with dogs in our garden, and in the home, playing ball games, and stimulating games such as hiding toys for the dog, and helping them practise their skills such as ‘paw’ ‘sit’ and ‘lie down’.

A welcome stay for your pet
Pet care experience
Ash and I are experienced dog sitters who absolutely adore looking after all kinds of dogs and learning about their unique personalities. We have both grown up around dogs, and since moving in together 5 years ago, have looked after dogs of various breeds and sizes in our bungalow together. We have been trusted and relied upon to provide day care for dogs, taking them out on long or short walks, depending on what the dog needs, and having dogs stay over for a couple of weeks at a time while their owners have been on holiday. We make sure to share regular updates of what their pooch has been up to, and videos of them making themselves at home and having fun out on their walks! If a dog has a particular schedule, we stick to this as we understand this is very important. We have our own private garden with fencing around, to ensure the dogs safety, and are a short distance away from some gorgeous walks to keep the dogs entertained. We love taking dogs out for the day to the beach, or to a large open space where they can burn off some energy and have fun, before coming home for lots of snuggles and fussing. We have looked after dogs from separate homes at the same time before, and they have boarded with us too. We have had may dogs board with us over the last year especially and have gained lots of experience from having many different breeds of dog stay with us.
Reviews

Ruby had a fab time with Laura and Ash. It was a very hot day however she was kept entertained in their garden and then was taken out for a walk when it was cooler. Updates were received throughout the day. Ruby is looking forward to her next stay with them :)

Laura and Ash were wonderful with Nelly, she can be a little anxious but our minds were put at rest with plenty of photos and updates. She's already looking forward to her next visit! Highly recommended.

Laura and Ash were brilliant! Loads of updates and pictures of Bear and how she was settling in and Bear really enjoyed her time there, she came back a happy dog! Thank you both

As always, Max was cared for and treated like a prince by Laura and Ash. Loved getting photos of him with the biggest happy grin on his face :)
