Hi! I'm Laura. I'd love to become your dog or cat’s home away from home. I'm a kind, caring, responsible, trustworthy, reliable animal lover, who will love and care for your dog or cat like I do for my own. I have a mini American Eskimo dog, Romeo, and he’s 5 years old. I work from home on Thursday - Sunday and off Mondays- Wednesdays. So, I’m home most of the time. Your baby will get lots of attention, playtime, walks, petting, and cuddles. I live in a pet-friendly, spacious apartment with plenty of room for frequent walks. Romeo loves going outside so I take him out every 1-2 hours, so your dog will get plenty of fresh air and exercise. Your cat will get lots of indoor playtime, pets, and cuddles. As a Rover client myself, I know it can be hard leaving my dog with a new sitter, so I'll do my best to make you and your pet as comfortable as possible, providing regular text updates/pictures. My job requires a government level clearance and background check, so you can be sure your baby is in the hands of someone trustworthy and reliable. I have experience caring for senior and special needs dogs, puppies, and cats. I don't have breed restrictions but ask that all guests please be spayed/neutered, potty trained, up to date on vaccinations and heart worm/flea preventative(s), and non-aggressive toward other dogs and people. Finally, I want you to know that my dog is more than just a pet; he’s like my kid, and I take dog and cat sitting seriously. Laura adopted a pet from my rescue agency many years ago, and we have kept in touch ever since. Even though he was extremely special needs and required a lot, she never gave up on him. He came from a hoarding situation and so struggled a lot adjusting to the good life, but he was always in great hands with Laura. I have also come to see and know how she is with her other pup and all dogs. She adores dogs and provides excellent care, patience, and love to them.

Schedule
I work from home 4 days a week and am off 3 days a week, so your dog will get lots of love and attention.
