Hi there! My name is Laura. If your fur baby needs someone to keep them company while you’re out of town, I’d love to help! I’ve lived with and cared for pets of all kinds for over 3 years, along with hands-on experience in pet sitting and dog walking for clients. I offer walking, house sitting, and drop-in visits. A little about me: I grew up with two cats, Hannah and Kyo, and have also lived with dogs through roommates. I’ve been walking dogs for years and currently volunteer with Nuzzles & Co.. I’ve cared for labs, shar-peis, doodles, Australian shepherds, mixed breeds, and more. I’m a former elementary teacher and current substitute in the Salt Lake City School District (background-checked). I work 2–3 days a week, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time for your pets. Since I don’t have pets of my own, your animals get my full attention. I treat every pet like family and provide daily photo updates. I have experience caring for senior pets and puppies/kittens, including administering medication when needed. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel relaxed and confident while you’re apart. I like to schedule bookings at least a week in advance so we can go over all the details, including a meet-and-greet (if needed) and any instructions for your home. I follow your routine closely so your pet feels comfortable, and I’m attentive to their body language and energy levels. I also communicate regularly and am happy to send updates and photos, so you always know how your pet is doing.

Laura was super communicative our whole time away. She asked great questions when I forgot to mention things but otherwise I felt like the pets were well loved and cared for while we were gone. The house was the same as we left it with regards to clean :) We will definitely work with Laura again!
Laura dog sat for my bernedoodle while my family was away for a week. She took great care of our dog, making sure he had plenty of exercise and attention. When he has seen her since, he is very happy. She also took great care of our house!
Laura was incredibly warm, responsive, responsible, and reliable!! It felt effortless to connect, and welcome her into our space to care for our pups - would definitely recommend and definitely cross my fingers that she’s available next time we need animal care! Thank you, Laura!!

Schedule
Since I work part-time, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time for walks, playtime, and check-ins during the week. I’m also available on weekends and for overnight care. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and cats, so it fits naturally into my routine.
