Lifelong pet owner offering caring, reliable care
I’ve grown up surrounded by animals and have been a passionate pet owner my entire life. I was raised with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish and even a horse, and I was very involved in caring for and training our animals throughout my childhood. I’m originally from Austria but have lived in England for around 10 years. I'm currently working as a teaching assistant and compelting a PhD in marine ecology. Because my schedule can be busy and I travel at times, pet sitting is the perfect way for me to have animals in my life while offering dedicated, short-term care. While I’m new to pet sitting independently, I’ve helped a close friend who has years of professional pet-sitting experience, and I bring many years of hands-on experience as a pet owner. I’m enthusiastic, reliable and genuinely attentive to each animal’s individual needs. I have experience of caring for animals with troubled backgrounds as well as younger and older individuals. I’m happy to care for vaccinated pets and always aim to provide a safe, loving and stress-free environment.

Laura is absolutely lovely, easy-going, and brilliant with dogs - Tala adores her! She looked after Tala really well, took her on long walks and gave her plenty of attention. On Tala's second time with Laura, Tala ran right into the house as soon as Laura opened the door, obviously feeling at home there and happy to come back. I would definitely recommend Laura as a dog-sitter.
Laura is a brilliant dog sitter! We met up beforehand so that she and Tala could get to know each other and then Tala stayed with Laura for a day. She got spoilt with walks, cuddles and attention and came home happy and relaxed. I'm sure Tala will get very excited when she finds that she's going back to Laura for another couple of days! Thank you Laura :-)

I manage my own hours and can work from home as needed, which allows me to be very flexible with pet care. I’m able to plan my day around feeding times, walks, play and companionship and ensure pets are not left alone for long periods. This flexibility means I can adapt to each pet’s routine and provide consistent attention throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment
I prioritise pets’ safety, comfort and routines at all times and carefully follow owners’ instructions. In my home, pets stay in a calm, clean and pet-safe environment. I have a shared outdoor courtyard accessed via a private back door. It is fully enclosed with high walls, making it secure for supervised outdoor time. I also live just a five-minute walk from a large park where I spend a lot of time and can provide regular walks and play time. I will not allow access to my bedroom but will allow the animals in all other rooms of the house including on my sofa for cuddles, if they like to.
