In the short time that Laura has been regularly dropping by for dog visits, we’ve become very comfortable with her. I can tell by the photos that Laura sends, that our dogs enjoy having her over and playing with her every time. She has gone above and beyond to make sure that our babies are well taken care of. Thank you very much Laura!

Laura took care of my dog, Cortez, for more than two days while out of town. This involved two overnights at my town home. This was my first trip away since adopting Cortez this past March. Laura has walked Cortez numerous times before.

Cortez experienced separation anxiety, especially at night. Laura soldiered on, doing her best to comfort Cortez, at the expense of loss of sleep. She kept in touch with me through text. When ...

Laura is awesome! We have used her house-sitting service for our three dogs twice now. I have a puppy who can be a handful, a 6 year old that needs attention and a 10 year old that is so sensitive to change and new people. They always look calm and happy when I come home. The second time she came over before we left on our trip and all my dogs were excited to see ...

Certified trainer of anxiety/fear

Dogs are everything I aspire to be. They give love freely, they’re always up for play, and they live in the moment. Dogs make everything a little bit happier—I became a Rover sitter so that I can make dogs happy in return!

I am a Karen Pryor Academy for Animal Training and Behavior graduate and Certified Training Partner specializing in anxious and fearful dogs. Boarding is stressful - let me be a safer alternative ...

What Laura would like to know about your dog

I'd like to know the dogs general temperament and reaction to people, other dogs, other animals, etc. Any potential problem behaviors should be noted as well, such as aggression, fearfulness, counter surfing, eating too fast, etc. I love all dogs equally regardless of size or breed! At the meet-and-greet, I do ask that your dog be leashed for the safety and comfort of everyone involved. I’ll ask you lots of questions to ensure your dog’s routine changes as little as possible and they will be as happy as possible! My aim is to provide excellent customer service to both pets and humans! I'm always in contact with the owners with frequent updates and pictures, and I pay such close attention to animals in my care that I often catch potential problems that the owner hasn't spotted yet!

When Laura watches your pet

We can go for walks or on hikes. I love hiking! We can even go splashing in my kiddy pool if your dog likes water (bath afterward, of course!) I’ll ask you in advance about your dog’s routine—and I’ll stick to it as close as possible!
