Patient dependable critter lover
I have ample experience with senior and special needs critters, I am patient and dependable and personally understand the human-animal bond. When I worked in the corporate world it was very stressful for me to leave a very young, elderly or sick pet at home unattended for long stretches. When my 12-yr-old dog was diagnosed with cancer, I did extensive research on ways to enhance her remaining days, my vet was impressed that I got an additional two years with her before she passed. I am able to administer all forms of medications, including subcutaneous fluids and insulin shots. I am a advocate for the Cesar Milan way of dog training - remain calm and assertive as the pack leader. Always reward the pet when they do as you ask and never get angry when they don't.

Laura is amazing and my Doodle loves her.
We’ve hired Laura to check in and feed our pup Oreo. Oreo is very friendly but can get suspicious of newcomers easily. Laura is great with reading our dogs cues and allowing him to approach when he’s ready. She’s great with communicating and sending us updates which makes us feel like Oreo is being taken care of. Fully recommend Laura for your pet caring needs.

A typical day
I prefer to walk on open space and park trails, occasionally on off-peak hours I might go to the Arvada dog park. I have owned a frisbee dog, and ball dog and I am currently training my young dog to become a certified therapy dog.
