Hello, Im Laur and my pronouns are they/them/theirs. Ive been caring for dogs since I was a young child and as an adult I have boarded, walked, played, bathed and helped train dogs of all sizes and ages. I also have experience pet sitting for cats and small animals like hamsters, guinea pigs, bunnies, fish. I actually have two very happy guinea pigs at home too.

Laur took amazing care of my senior pup while I was out of town for a week, she handled all of her (many) meds, and her fussy eating scheduled. On top of that my house was spotless when I returned. Would absolutely book with Laur again.
Laur stayed at our house and took care of our two cats and did a fantastic job. Both of our cats are extremely shy around new people, but they had patience and both eventually were cuddling up to them. One of our cats takes an inhaler twice a day, and they were able to successfully administer that med. We came back to happy cats, clean house, and even watered plants! We will definitely book Laur again! :)
Laur was amazing with my pups! I had to take a last minute trip and was pretty nervous but Laur took care of everything. The dogs got walks and I got lots of pictures. I cannot recommend Laur enough!
Laur has been our go-to dog sitter/walker since we got Milo as a puppy at 8 weeks old, he is now 1 year old. Laur has treated Milo like their own and is an amazing with him. They have stayed at our house for a few nights to watch him while we were on vacation. Milo seems so comfortable with them! Laur was very flexible with our schedules and willing to stay at our house while watching him, as that is where Milo is most comfortable. They sent us pictures and videos of Milo while we were gone so we could see how he was going. Laur is very accommodating as we have Milo on a specific schedule and have certain house rules. I highly recommend Laur and will continue to use them as our dog sitter/walker for Milo!

Schedule
I'm a researcher with a very flexible schedule so I have time to play and give pets the attention they deserve. I enjoy being around dogs and cats and other animals, it's part of my self care routine too. :)

I can care for your pet in your home, I find that most animals feel most comfortable in their own home where they are most familiar. I can be sure to continue training your puppy, dog, cat, or other pet when in my care as well. I find that it's important that familiar language and actions and schedules are used to improve training and learning.
A typical day
I would take dogs for walks around the neighborhood or to nearby parks and make sure they are on a similar schedule that they are used to. If there is a yard, I would love to play fetch with them so they can run around. With cats and other animals I would engage with them by building rapport and playing with them using the toys they are familiar with so they feel safe and secure.
