I’ve been caring for animals since I was about 9 years old, and animals have truly been a lifelong passion of mine. I grew up on a ranch in Pennsylvania, where I gained hands-on experience with all kinds of farm animals as well as dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles, and more exotic species. Growing up, I also helped rescue and care for animals until they were healthy and able to fend for themselves again. Today, animals are still a huge part of my everyday life. I have two 15-year-old long-haired Chihuahuas, a 130-pound Sulcata tortoise, and five Fennec foxes. I am also a USDA-licensed breeder of Fennec foxes, which has given me extensive hands-on experience caring for animals at every stage of life—from newborns requiring close attention and specialized care to senior pets who need a little extra patience and TLC. Because of my experience, I’m very comfortable around animals with different personalities, sizes, ages, and care requirements. I understand how important routines are and how much trust it takes to leave a beloved pet in someone else’s care. I work full-time as a Realtor, but I’m also a full-time animal mom! Since having so many animals of my own makes traveling difficult, I often find myself caring for friends’ and family members’ pets instead—and I genuinely love it. I decided to join Rover because spending time with animals is something that truly brings me joy. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and needs time to warm up, a senior who prefers a slower pace, or simply happiest sticking to their normal routine, I’ll take the time to get to know them and make them feel comfortable and cared for.
