Shonda is a warm, trustworthy and incredible, thoughtful person who naturally excels at taking care of others. She has watched my dog, Buddy Lee, and I always felt completely at ease, knowing he was in great hands. She’s great at communication, pays attention to details and treated my dog with the same genuine love and patience she would give her own.
Shonda is great with my pup, Zaga! She’s so gentle and patient with him! I travel often for work so having her to come and walk him really helps!
Leaving our dog behind when my wife and I travel, or even just needing someone for casual dog walks used to be a headache, but Shonda makes it so easy. Knowing he’s getting plenty of love and exercise, means we never have to worry. Couldn’t ask for better care!

Schedule
My schedule offers flexibility, which allows me to fit pet care into my week while giving each dog the attention they deserve. Some days I’m available earlier than others, and weekends are generally more open. I believe pets thrive on consistency, so I’ll always be upfront about my availability and make sure I can fully commit before accepting a booking. When your dog is in my care, they’ll have my full attention, plenty of affection, and dependable care every step of the way.

I know that trusting someone with your dog is a big decision, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. Whether your dog is staying in my home or joining me for a walk, their safety, comfort, and happiness will always come first. I’ll follow your care instructions closely, keep routines as consistent as possible, and provide plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. You’ll receive regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pup is in caring, dependable hands. My goal is to create a calm, welcoming environment where your dog feels loved, secure, and right at home. No other pets in the home. Non-smoking home. Plenty of space for walks and play. Only one family’s dog(s) at a time
A typical day
When I pet sit, we start with a nice, relaxed walk so they can explore and get some fresh air. Back inside, we’ll play a few quick rounds of fetch or use a favorite toy to burn off leftover energy. I like to give them a simple treat puzzle or a stuffed Kong to keep their minds busy for a bit. After that, we’ll just kick back on the couch for plenty of scratches and downtime. It’s a low-stress routine that keeps them happy, safe, and nicely tired out by the time you get home.
