Hi — I’m Sarah. My husband Lars (who usually goes by Cody) and I have cared for pets our whole lives, and we’d love to care for yours. Cody has over two years of professional dog-walking and training experience from our time in Boston, and I handle most of the day-to-day walks, drop-ins, and in-home care now that I’m a stay at home mom. We recently moved back to Vermont and are fortunate to have a large, fenced backyard plus acres of fields and trails nearby for longer adventures. We have one dog and one cat, who are friendly and used to visitors.

We enjoy taking our dog on morning and evening walks, with plenty of time outside in the backyard during the day. On walks away from home I prioritize safety and awareness of other dogs, and I use positive-reinforcement techniques regularly with our own dog. I aim to keep every pet comfortable, happy, and secure while you’re away.

- It’s important that I’m aware of any notable behavioral traits your pet has. I usually have my child with me in a front carrier, so I prefer dogs who do not jump when greeting people, and aren’t apt to pull on a leash very hard.
