I am software engineer working from home and have a dog of my own so taking care of an extra one works out great. I do frequent walks regardless.

I have a spacious apartment bordering the Bear Creek green belt for great and stimulating walks. I also have access to grass areas just outside the door when quick breaks are needed. My own dog is really relaxed and mostly does his own thing. While he was a puppy I fostered dogs and did Rover hosting as well so he got used to other dogs from the start.

Information Lars F. would like to know about your pet
Since I have a dog of my own I need to know that your dog gets along with other dogs. My dog Enzo is very mellow and mostly just does his own thing though he doesn't mind company. I would also like to know how they do on leashed walks just so I am prepared.
A typical day
I usually take my dog on two longer walks each day along the nature trails by the Bear Creek and also shorter potty breaks in the grass areas around the complex. Sometimes I drive to the closer trails in the foothill for shorter hikes. possibly take them for shorter hikes. I do have a fenced dog park in the area but I will only take a dog there after I get to know them.

I have been a dog owner for the last 16 years (I have had a cat as well). I have also been helping a dog rescue with fostering and my current dog is a "foster fail" :), e.g. I ended up keeping him after fostering.
