I've had the privilege of caring for cats for about 39 years, and during that time, they’ve truly become one of the greatest joys in my life. From playful kittens to wise old seniors, I’ve shared my home, and my heart with countless feline companions. There’s something incredibly special about the bond between a human and a cat. It's quiet, respectful, and deeply meaningful. Their affection is unconditional, and their trust is something you earn over time, a reward that I’ve always cherished. Cats have always been my pet of choice. Their unique personalities, intelligence, and independence make every relationship different and rewarding in its own way. I’ve never met a cat I couldn’t connect with, whether it's a shy rescue who needs gentle encouragement or an energetic kitten eager for play. Over the years, I’ve learned to read their body language, anticipate their needs, and provide the calm, loving presence they thrive on. I am also licensed, insured and certified in Pet CPR and First Aid.

After decades of being a devoted cat parent and caretaker, it occurred to me, why not share this experience and love with others? That’s why I decided to offer my cat sitting services to the public. I know firsthand how important it is to leave your furry family member in trustworthy hands while you're away. With me, your cat won’t just be “watched”, they’ll be cared for with the same level of attention, compassion, and understanding I give my own. Whether it’s administering medication, cleaning litter boxes, preparing special meals, or simply offering companionship, I provide thorough, reliable, and loving care tailored to each cat’s needs and personality. As a courtesy, I've also created an Excel spreadsheet I call the "Cat Sitting Journal". I will present this journal to you at the end of each cat sit. It will detail all of the work completed by me on any given day. For example, you'll see when the litter box was cleaned, how often your kitties were fed and medicated, and when the plants were watered, etc. If you're looking for someone who genuinely loves and understands cats, and has the decades of experience to prove it, I’d be honored to care for your beloved feline(s). I am also licensed, insured and certified in Pet CPR and First Aid. I’m happy to answer any questions you may have and I hope to hear from you soon!

I can leave my 3 cats home without any worries (and have done so many times for 7 plus days) knowing that Larry will be coming each day to care for them. He, of course, feeds them and takes care of their litter boxes, but he also spends quality time brushing them and playing with them. I couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter than Larry! I've known him for several years and he took amazing care of my senior cat, Rambo, while I was away on vacation with the family last year. Larry made sure the litter boxes were always clean, kept my plants watered, and gave Rambo his food and medications right on schedule. What really stood out was how knowledgeable he is about common cat health issues. It’s clear he has a lot of experience caring for cats. I felt completely at ease knowing Rambo was in such capable hands. Larry even sent me the sweetest photos of the two of them snuggling, which truly meant a lot. Schedule
I'm recently retired and available with only one day's notice. I am happy to provide house sitting or drop-in visits for your kitties. My service areas are: Camp Verde, Cottonwood, Jerome, Sedona, and Village of Oak Creek. I look forward to hearing from you!
