Availability
I have dedicated the past 10 years to being fully available for my dog friends. Caregiving for canines, to me, is by far the most rewarding opportunity out there, but I do also have part-time work from home and have plenty of yard work/projects to keep up with. Most all our doggies love to help with routine chores and just want to be near their human no matter what were doing. There is much to learn from our pups and behaviors to experience, so I am always grateful to make new friends and look forward to meeting you and your doggy(s).

The dog gang all understand their expectations day to day and always help groom new friends according to the standard. The main leadership I provide is consistency in our routine, feeding, potty breaks, play time, walks, naps and bedtime, while always remaining calm no matter what the scenario. Pups react to our responses, always remaining calm and collected is a must. I give attention to each pup equally, preventing jealousy or neglect, while always aware of each dogs eating habits, territorial issues or triggers. Main goal is to have as much fun each day without breaking anything.

Information Larry B. would like to know about your pet
Upon meet and greet, please share all concerning behavior and typical character your dog might have. Please mention feeding habits, normal wakeup/bedtime, social behavior, jealousy, anxiety, (separation), medicines and potty-poop habits, I have experience with most all the breeds and willing to take on any challenge. All questions and concerns will be shared during the meet and greet with authentic openness. I'm a seasoned veteran at this, not much will slip past me and nothing will ever surprise me. I typically like to talk to the owners before the first meeting to establish a rapport, so expect a brief phone chat before being invited for a tour of our oasis,
A typical day
Our adventures will be determined by the breed, age and how many dog friends are participating. The routine morning activities and chores are always a delightful way to start a day. First thing priority number 1 upon wake up around 6ish a.m. is go downstairs to go potty, get a lil exercise, play fetch, chase and sniff around while I casually attend chickens, bunny and gardens. After getting some sunlight, do our business and lil exercise, we come upstairs for breakfast. We prefer mostly to stick around at home each day because we have a huge dog park and lots of countryside to enjoy. Spontaneously we do sometimes visit A.L. Anderson,John Chestnut, Wall Springs or Howard park. A few hours out of the day I enjoy building and maintain multi-functional gardens. Along with the animals, plants have given me endless rewards over the years. Our gardens are loaded with perennial edibles that provide nutrition and fulfillment year round. I do provide special training to help speed up the learning process if you want advanced care. Inside the home is spacious, very dog friendly and always ready for a good time. Pups usually resist leaving their doggy retreat at first, but always thrilled to see their owners and ready for the next visit.

Responsible & Patient Animal Lover
Pet care experience
Fortunately for me, I was introduced to a wide variety of animals growing up on a small farm in Illinois. No cell phones, computers or devices, just nature, projects and endless possibilities.Compassion, empathy, sincerity, gratitude, patience, perseverance, dedication, suffering and unconditional love are just a few things I quickly understood. These values gave me a free pass to explore the world freely and confident. Fast forward to today, I still have a childlike appreciation for the unpredictability that comes with working with animals, their caregivers and positive results that predictably unfolds in unexpected ways. The meet and greet has been the most exciting part of the process. I've had hundreds of dogs come in and out of my life and each one had their own unique character that impacted me. In time, EVERY dog adjusted to the environment, the pack and expectations, overriding past traumas or separation anxiety. The puparoos have been my lifelong antidepressant and reminder to value each moment with sincere enthusiasm.

Meatball didn’t want to leave! A true sign he had a great time with Larry and his fellow fur friends! He’s looking forward to coming back. 🥰

Larry was great with my dog Finley. He kept me updated with comments and pictures. He even went above and beyond by providing some training on Finley's walking habits. Made my vacation much better!

My little 9-pound Maltipom had a GREAT time with Larry! Larry takes a calm, thoughtful approach with dogs .. ... Mr. Scruffypants made a wonderful new friend!

Absolutely the best!!! Caring, thoughtful, efficient. Hank is always happy to see them. We are so grateful to have Larry spend so much time with Hank when we are away.
