I have cared for animals all my life, starting with animals on the farm as a kid, and continuing with my own pets as an adult. I show my dogs lots of love and affection, because I believe they feel this and respond to it with trust. Dogs gravitate towards me naturally because of this, curling up in my lap even if they've just met me. I'll love and treat your dogs the same as I treat my own. They'll be relaxed and content while you're away. My own girls, Stormy and Kona have been around lots of other dogs of all ages and sizes. Stormy likes to curl up with any dog who prefers a good nap, and Kona is a bit more playful with energy for your pups more playful side. I'm retired and home 24/7 with all the pups in my care, so your baby will never be left alone, and they'll get lots of love and attention. I have 2 friendly female dogs of my own for your pup to play with, one of whom is special needs as she is Deaf, so I can adapt my care to any unique needs your pups may have. I share a large yard with dog loving neighbors that provide an extra set of eyes, and double the belly rubs! I don't use kennels, but if your baby feels more comfortable and secure using one, I can certainly accommodate a crate that you bring from home.

Larry hosted our dog Nora for 3 nights and looked after her very well! He made time available for a meet & greet prior to Nora’s stay, which we really appreciated especially since she is shy of new people. Highly recommended!

We were nervous to leave Ringer with anyone for 2 weeks as she is 13yrs old, hearing impaired, and has separation anxiety. During the meet and greet, Larry reassured us that the dogs will never be left alone and that he has experience with senior dogs. We could tell he cared as he had notecards with facts about each dog. He even gave Ringer a care package of treats and toys to take home. Larry is very laid back and has a calming demeanor. He sent us updates every couple of days while we were away and Ringer appeared very relaxed in the photos. When we arrived to pick her up, she was laying on the front porch with Larry and some of the other dogs. At first, she didn’t want to leave and went back inside which reassured us she had a good stay. Will book again. Thanks Larry!
We can't thank Larry enough for the wonderful care he provided Natasha while we were away. He diligently managed her medication and showered her with love, giving us peace of mind. Natasha clearly enjoyed her time with Larry, and we'll definitely be rebooking his services in the future!

Our dog Buddy really enjoyed his stay. Larry was patient, and Buddy felt relaxed right away when he walked into his home. Will definitely come back again!

A typical day
The dogs all have free reign of my home and yard with lots of room to exercise or sunbathe. I'm also within walking distance of downtown Tucson, so if your pup has an adventurous and curious side we can take a walk and check out the scene!
