A typical day
I work from home, so I can be with your pet as much as they need! I will use your house as home base for the duration of the stay, so there will be ample time for cuddles, play time, walks, and anything else your baby needs to be happy.

I believe our pets deserve to have all of their needs, both physical and emotional, met with respect and care 💜 My priority as your pet sitter is to ensure that your babies are healthy and happy the whole time you are away! I grew up with dogs and cats, as well as a host of other pets including rabbits, hedgehogs, gerbils, and mice. As an adult I have had rescue dogs of my own for the last 16 years, which is one of the greatest joys of my life. At the moment I have one 9 year old brindle pit mix named Inigo Montoya, who I’ve had since he was a puppy. His two older siblings, Jezebel and Rufio, passed away in 2022 and 2025. I have tons of experience with anxious dogs, reactive dogs, and dogs with various medical issues, and I am well versed in positive reinforcement training and reading and respecting dog body language. In addition to doing pet care, I have 15+ years of experience working in and being respectful of other people's homes as a childcare provider and as a housecleaner. I also have experience with cats, snakes, rats, freshwater aquariums, and house plants! Note- I am not the right person for you if you practice any "training" techniques that involve force or punishment (shock collars, squirt bottles, prong collars, noise-based deterrents, etc).

This was my second time booking with Lark and it was for a six night stay. I have two huskies, one who is almost 14 years old and has recently started having some health problems. Lark was able to adjust his schedule last minute, administer oral as well as injection medications, and take care of my dog when she was having some new GI issues. He even went out of his way to get her some canned pumpkin that she could tolerate on her stomach when she was sick. He is so kind, caring and attentive to my pets and I knew they were in great hands. I would 100% recommend him to anyone.
Lark is fantastic! This was my first booking with him for a weekend of house sitting and I have already booked him again for another trip. He is invested in taking great care of your animals and your home. He was thorough in getting to know my pups, their medications, and their routines at a meet and greet beforehand. I received regular updates with pictures during the stay. I felt so comfortable and confident that my elderly dogs were in great hands while I was away and would definitely recommend him.
Lark is AMAZING! They took such great care of our floofs, from a pre-vacation meet & greet to regular updates while we were away, Lark was such a treat to work with. Definitely pet (and their people) approved…we’ll definitely use them against would HIGHLY recommend!
There are not enough words to describe how elated we are with Lark. Not only is everyone safe, our plants are watered, mail brought in, etc. We just lost a little old man kitty two days before we left and while we were gone, another kitty stopped eating. We were able to make all arrangements for a vet visit and Lark was incredibly reliable and communicative. I have never left my dog for two weeks. I can’t recommend Lark more. Tip him well and don’t book my dates 😜
