I currently stay home during the day and homeschool 2 of my children. My kiddos take most of their breaks outside throwing balls around and playing soccer and spending time with the pup(s) currently staying.

I have a big, beautiful fenced yard to run and play in. I do have chickens that your dog can see but they are kept in a separate fenced area. I find that most dogs love to watch the chickens and are provided a lot of mental stimulation from observing them. Your pup(s) will spend lots of time indoors in the hotter and colder months and always sleep indoors. I will accommodate whatever sleeping arrangement your dog typically has at your home. This is a place for your pup to come and stay and still have that feeling of being in a comfortable home rather than a boarding/training facility. We keep a family routine and will include your pup in those activities- Friday movie nights with the pups, evening walks and family time playing in the yard. We have a doggy screen when the weather permits allowing your pup free access inside or out. We get the sprinkler out in the summer and we snuggle by the fire in the winter. I have grooming experience and offer a full groom done before you pickup your dog. This fee will include nail trim, a bath and blow dry and ear cleaning. If your pup gets dirty while they are here I will keep them clean and make sure they go home well-kept.

The more I know ahead of time about your pet the better! I can accommodate most dogs special needs and will go the extra mile for your pup. I always require a meet and greet, I make no exceptions on this policy.
A typical day
Every dog has different daily goals and I believe that dogs are happiest when you meet those needs regularly. Whether your dog’s top priority is exercise, attention, snuggles, anxiety management or socialization I will do my absolute best to ensure they have a successful day at my home. Feeding will always be done in accordance with your preference. We have lots of outside play time, weather permitting.

Pet care experience
I have a lot of experience with dogs ranging from puppy to senior, including special needs. I really love dogs and enjoy having them in my home! Additionally, I have been boarding pups through Rover since July of 2024. This opportunity to watch your pup is something I’ve incorporated well into our family life, this is not a fleeting need for cash. I will still be here in 6 months or a year when you need a sitter again. I am reliable and consistent and appreciate my current clients as well as my new ones! Of course lots of playtime will occur and any routines or boundaries along with provided instruction will be upheld to ensure consistency for your dog. Your pup will be treated and cared for like family.
