Dogs are family!
I am an animal lover who would love to provide care to your pet so you don't have to worry about leaving them at home while you're at work or on vacation! My services include dog-walking, drop-in visits to check on and play with your pup, overnight boarding if you're away on vacation (at my home or yours), or dog-sitting for the day while you're at work. I have experience with volunteering at various animal shelters, caring for dogs on Rover for several years, owning several family dogs growing up, and spending time with my parents dog, Boomer (a rescue Shih-tzu yorkie mix), my sisters dog Lola (a mini schnauzer) and my in-laws’ golden retriever, Remi. As of June, we also have a golden retriever puppy of our own who adores other dogs, so it is important that your dog gets along with other dogs. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! I love hanging out with the doggos and will be flexible with our activities based on their age, activity level and owner preferences. I love exercising and being outdoors so I’m always willing to go for walks or hikes with your dog! Or if they’re older I can stay in and relax with them too 😊

Larrisa was easy to communicate with and came over to do a meet and greet. Cooper and Rusty were so happy to meet her and even happier when she came back the next 2 days to take them on a long walk.
Our dog Otie received amazing care from Larissa and Luke. He loved having some independence, sitting out on their deck (unleashed) watching birds in the woods. He got long walks and runs on the nearby nature trails and warm naps by the fire. They cared for him like he was their own beloved dog.
Larissa was wonderful!!! Max loved his time with her.
Larissa was very sweet and accommodating. Our dog loved snuggling with her and was really happy to spend the weekend with her!
Larissa was super and attentive. Our puppy came back even happier than normal!
Very attentive and caring dog/house sitter. Left the house in good shape and a happy dog. ????

My husband and I live in a home on 5 acres on a quiet rural road in Maine that is perfect for taking dogs for walks or a swim in the pond (if their parents say yes!). Your dog will have plenty of room in the house and on our land to play and go for walks down our quiet road. I also am able to travel to your home to watch your dog too.

Rest assured your dog will have a fun time at our house/land! I’ll take them for plenty of walks on our quiet dirt road, play fetch on our land and for a swim in the pond just down the road
