I'm a stay-at-home mom, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I'm home throughout the day and can provide attentive, flexible care for your dog and/or cat whenever you need it. Whether it's a quick midday visit, an extended playdate, or overnight care, I can accommodate your schedule without the constraints of a traditional work day. Being home means your pet gets consistent attention, regular bathroom breaks, and the comfort of a calm, nurturing environment. I can also be responsive to last-minute requests or changes—something that's often difficult for sitters with rigid schedules. Your dog will receive the same patient, loving care I give to my own animals, with the added benefit of my availability and flexibility as a stay-at-home caregiver.

A typical day

A Typical Day of Pet Care My day revolves around keeping your pet happy, active, and comfortable. Here's what a typical day looks like: Morning I start with a cheerful greeting and bathroom break for dogs, or a litter box check for cats. I provide a nutritious breakfast for all pets. With dogs, we head outside for energizing playtime and exercise—whether that's fetch, exploring our farm grounds in the secure fenced area, or a brisk walk. With cats, I engage them with interactive toys, wand toys, or laser pointers to encourage natural hunting instincts and keep them mentally stimulated. Midday After some activity, we wind down for a rest period while I prepare lunch and any enrichment activities. For dogs, I might introduce puzzle toys, practice training exercises, or enjoy quiet companionship indoors. For cats, I set up cozy spots for napping, refresh water bowls, and offer gentle play sessions or window perch time for bird watching. This downtime helps prevent overstimulation and keeps your pet balanced. Afternoon Dogs get another outdoor adventure with walks, games, or exploration. I might work on training—reinforcing commands, practicing tricks, or building confidence. Cats receive additional interactive play, climbing opportunities, and one-on-one attention. I'm particularly good with cats that need extra patience and trust-building, making sure they feel secure and loved. Evening As the day winds down, we enjoy calm activities. Dogs get a final bathroom break and dinner. Cats receive their evening meal, fresh water, and gentle play before settling in. I ensure litter boxes are clean and all pets feel secure and content. Throughout the Day I incorporate lots of interaction, mental stimulation, and love for both dogs and cats. Every pet is different, so I adjust activities based on their personality, age, and preferences. Your pet will never be bored—just happily cared for and well loved!

Pet care experience

With nearly a decade of hands-on dog training experience and a genuine passion for animal care, I bring a unique blend of expertise and compassion to pet sitting. My background includes meaningful work at an animal shelter, where I developed a deep understanding of dogs and cats with diverse temperaments—and I particularly thrive working with animals that need extra patience and trust-building. As someone who lives on a farm, I'm comfortable with all kinds of animals and understand their individual needs. When your dog visits, they'll enjoy safe outdoor time in a secure, fenced area where they can play freely and comfortably. I approach every animal with both patience and gentle firmness, creating an environment where they feel secure and cared for. Your furry family member won't just be looked after—they'll be loved and understood.
