I've taken care of animals my whole life (30+ years) and feel a close connection to our four legged friends. I have relevant work experience in the animal care and husbandry industries as a kennel tech at a vet office, a carnivore keeper at the Houston Zoo, caring for squirrels, opossums and birds as a volunteer at the Wildlife Center and dog walking at both the Houston SPCA and Montgomery County Animal Shelter. Additionally, I have experience working with senior animals as well as animals with behavioral issues.

I truly cannot say enough good things about Larissa. She has such a calming energy and the sweetest soul—you can immediately feel how much she loves animals. I have two dogs, and one is usually very selective with people, but you would never know it with her. The second she walked in, he went straight up to her and was instantly affectionate—it honestly melted my heart. My younger dog Patrick can be a bit of a menace at times, and she handled him so patiently and graciously. Watching her with my dogs gave me so much peace of mind. I would recommend her over and over again to anyone!
Our flight got cancelled and we were unable to get home. Larissa was able to come back and sit for us an additional night on hours of notice! We can’t thank her enough!!
Larissa was absolutely amazing! I can’t thank her enough for the love and care she gave our two girls while we were away. She followed all of our care instructions perfectly and made sure our older girl received her medication each day without any issues. Larissa also kept us in constant communication, sending updates and photos throughout the day. It truly put our minds at ease and made us so happy to see how loved and well cared for our girls were. We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter and would absolutely trust her again in the future! She is truly thoughtful and cared for not only our girls, but us as well. We are so grateful to Larissa and would absolutely recommend her!
She took great care of our golden retriever Mitch while we were away Thursday through Sunday. Mitch can be a little particular about feeding and routines, and she followed all the instructions perfectly and made sure he was comfortable. She sent us great updates and photos while we were gone, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. She also left the house just as we left it. We would definitely book with her again!
Larissa is an incredibly caring and responsible pet owner herself — she has one dog and three cats who are all thriving under her attentive care. She also volunteers on weekends to walk adoptable shelter dogs, which speaks volumes about her dedication, patience, and genuine love for animals. Larissa has experience with a wide range of pets, even caring for chickens when she lived outside of Houston. No matter the species, she treats every animal with gentleness, kindness, and respect. There is truly no one more compassionate, trustworthy, or nurturing. Any family would be lucky to have Larissa care for their pets.
Larissa truly loves and cares about animals. She is a pet owner herself and often spends time at animal shelters in her free time caring for the animals there. As a pet owner myself she is one of the few people that I would trust with my pet and know that they were well cared for.

Schedule
I work 7:30-4:30 Monday to Friday but am free to provide both morning and evening care as well as all the snuggles and walks your pal could ask for on the weekend.
