Information Larissa D. would like to know about your pet
I have no breed preferences. However, I would always like to know if the dog pulls hard on a leash. My next question would be if the dog has ever bitten anyone. If so, I wouldn’t discriminate but I would want to know why and also what I can do to make the dog feel comfortable. Finally, I would like to ask anything about the dog that their human would like to tell me. That question is very open ended and intended to be able to provide the best possible service for your pet.
A typical day
All in all, I like to let the dog or cat take the lead so to speak. Whatever makes the pet happy, I am happy to engage in with the animal for dogs and cats alike.I love hiking here in Golden because there are all levels of difficulty herein. I love being able to give the cat or dog exercise and let them out into the sunshine. Snow doesn’t stop me either. Playing with Dogs in the snow is really fun and a joy to witness. I also make my own dog and cat organic fur conditioner that I love to use on my pets that I can use on yours too.

Pet care experience
Hello there! Thank you for you are considering my services.’thank you. Let me start by saying, like most people I am here because I love animals. I love caring for them, nurturing them, and making sure they are strong, healthy and enjoying life. I have had pets all my life. I currently have a dog, Buddy who is twelve and a cat, Habibi who is also twelve. Habibi was a rescue cat and since I’ve had her, I discovered she was hypothyroid and I have been administering medication for her thyroid twice a day for eleven years. She has had multiple gum surgeries, heart problems, severe IBD, and diabetes. With a diet change and persistent and precise home blood-glucose readings and insulin injections, she has been in remission for five years now. Buddy, my dog, has been very lucky and has had a few health issues but I have worked hard to cure them naturally and with acute veterinary care. I take great pride in never giving up in my animals. I will not fail to mention that I am very comfortable giving medications to animals, no matter how intricate or challenging it might be because I’ve done it with a highly uncooperative cat for ten years. To me, the most important part of adopting an animal is nurturing his/her individuality, needs, and unique balance. To give an animal the best possible life is the greatest gift and it is a service that I hold sacred. Not only do I make it my job to learn the language of the animal I care for, but I love it. I integrate my knowledge of science and apply wisdom from my heart to make sure your pet and all animals receive the love they deserve and I have fun doing it. I look forward to being of service to you and your family soon.

Reviews

Larissa did a great job with Rufus! Very thorough and will be booking her services again in the future!

Reliable and great communication. Thanks for watching our cat while we were gone!

Larissa did a great job checking on our cat and fish, and even watered the plants! She was awesome at communicating and sending photo updates. Thanks a ton, Larissa!

Larissa was great with Bear! She came through for me last minute when my normal sitter wasn't available and I got called into work unexpectedly. Bear was as happy as could be in his pictures and when I came home and she fed him dinner for me too!
