I have preparation checklists to send you, or I can follow your lead. I know what questions to ask. I’m a warm, friendly professional with only 5-star reviews. I've had pets most of my life. I'm a loving, kind person and have never met an animal I didn't like. We're so happy to see each other, each other's best mood enhancer. If you like buying treats for your beloved pets, think what a benefit when loving company comes. I have experience working with dogs with separation anxiety. I've been a professional human eldercare giver so I can give pets injections, medications, baths, etc. I’m a meditator, with a gentle vibe to which animals often respond. I know how to wear the alpha hat, but also like to play on pets’ level. Often cats that aren’t social will come sit on my lap or put their paw on my face or arm. I have studied animal body language and feel I speak cat fluently. Dogs are pretty transparent, as well. No smoking, own transportation, clean, responsible, good communicator, Stanford approved.

In your home I can offer regular walks and feeding, cuddles baths, and pilling, etc. I am happy to do multiple pets and plants, house tending, etc.

Lara was a great dog sitter. I hired her while I took a long weekend trip. She walked my dog Magnet multiple times per day and even took her to the dog park. She left my house in great shape and I would definitely use her again. Thanks Lara!

Lara has diligently watched over my home & two kitties 24/7 for close to three weeks & is currently doing the same for three weeks. Lara loves animals, especially dogs & cats, & each time I return I find my kitties even more loving than when i left. We are so thankful to have found Lara. This is the first time since moving into our home a few months ago that we've had to leave our 15 year old Havanese, Henry, and the first time he's been cared for by anyone outside of family. Lara connected with Henry so well! And we felt comfortable with her right away. Lara is kind, caring, and intuitive in her care. She looked after Henry and our home wonderfully, communicated regularly, and handled a last minute vet visit for a sudden UTI with grace. We came home to fresh flowers and a freshly bathed, happy dog! We have already made plans for Lara to come back. Highly recommend!
In the fourteen years I've known Lara Summerville, years involving much careful planning of comings and goings, she has proved immaculately reliable. She is personable, inventive, physically fit and, as far as I've observed, has a love of all creatures that is (at least in the case of human pets) heartwarmingly reciprocal.
Lara is a friend and she kindly agreed to stay at my home on a number of occasions to take care of my brother and sister 6 year old cats. Lara has taken care of them from 5 days to 2 weeks when I've been away. My cats relaxed with her which is unusual for my adopted feral cats! I could tell they were well taken care of because they were always happy when I returned. Lara kept the house clean and collected the mail. I recommend her for short and long term residential and nonresidential pet sitting.

I accept longer stays and we can negotiate a comfortable price. Don’t be shy to suggest one. It’s a big responsibility, but I appreciate having a place to study, meditate, and play with your pet.
