Positive Train Exp w/ many breeds
I have always had dogs and cats in my life. They love me and I them. Over the last 15 years I have used positive discipline training techniques to train 3 service dogs. I can handle lickers, leaners, goof balls and even standoffish dogs. I am strong and can walk a dog that pulls, but I will caution you that a puller may come back to you as a non-puller, because if I walk them more than a few times I will want to train them not to pull. I can even walk your cat. I walk mine daily.

I will only use soft words, positive techniques and kind pets for your animals. Some animals require more care than others and I will never sell a pet short. It isn't their fault that we humans like to travel or need to work. They can't understand that reasoning, so it is super important that we keep them feeling calm and safe when a stranger comes into their life. I want the animals I sit for to jump for joy when they see me.

Lara was fantastic taking Roscoe for a walk. She found a great way to distract him from other dogs and knew when he had hit his limit in the heat and made sure to slow down. She gave updates on his behavior around people and other dogs in cars and also was a champ with his soft stool due to some medications he’s taking. Will definitely book again!
Lara did a great job befriending my slightly standoffish cat and keeping her happy! Deeply appreciated all the goofball photos and the extra time spent with Junah 💕
We needed to find someone on short notice for our 14 day trip and Laura was available. We wanted to make sure our little pup with some separation anxiety was able to stay in her own home. Since she isn’t very active during the day we decided twice daily drop in visits would work best for her. Laura kept us up to date with all the visits and made sure our dog had what she needed. We returned to a happy, well cared for, dog. We will definitely use Laura again and will try and maintain some consistent drop in visits so Ruby remains familiar with her.
Lara is our family guardian angel - she let us know that our senior cat had issues with breathing and we were able to come home on time and take Fannie to the vet. A day or two late and we would not be able to save our little friend. Lara is super reliable and very kind person. Would recommend as a pet sitter, a friend and a decent person to be around. Thank you Lara for all you did for us!
My cat kept turning on the faucet in the bathroom, so Lara was able to craft some Velcro straps to keep him from running the faucet all day while I was gone.
Again, Lara provided excellent care for my kitties! My shy cat remembered Lara from her last visit and was a total cuddly lap kitty. Lara was very detailed in reporting details of my cats' activities, very much appreciated!
