I grew up with dogs and had my own fur baby for 11 years. He was a young rescue we trained and he lived to be a senior with senior pup needs such as supplements, medicine and daily eye drops so I'm very experienced across all age groups! Our pup had severe leash reactivity so I have lots of experience with that too. Lastly, I have also been a cat sitter for friends and family over the past 20 years.

Lara is a caring and dedicated dog mom and pet sitter. She dedicatedly cares for her own sweet fur baby, a rescue, including as he navigated health conditions, always going above and beyond to support his happiness, health, and wellbeing. Lara was a life saver in taking care of my old lady cat, Turkey in a pinch! Turkey is a particular lady, needs meds twice a day, and demands love be given in very specific ways (did I tell you that you were allowed to pet me while I use you as a sofa?). Lara takes it all in stride, and Turkey barely lifts her head when I return home (which is a good thing, as she would give me a mouthful if she was unhappy). Her dog, Lenny, has come to stay too, and he’s so chill and doesn’t bat an eye at Turk. Responsible, complete animal lover and more than worthy of caring for your pet!

Schedule
I work from home, so your fur baby will rarely be alone! I can provide as many walks as your pup needs throughout the day and frequent potty breaks are no problem either.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a spacious ground floor condo with a large, fully fenced in patio for sunbathing if your pup likes to hang outside. I have two kids, aged 6 and 10, who grew up with our dog and love all dogs. There will be no shortage of playtime and snuggles for your pup!
A typical day
Your pup can expect long neighborhood walks, games of fetch and tug as well as stimulating puzzles and feeding/treat toys. I only buy high quality treats - dried beef liver or dried pumpkin with no other additives.
