I grew up with dogs and cats and, for several years, I have volunteered as a foster and dog walker for several dog and cat shelters. Previously, I worked as a in-home dog sitter for several families while they traveled as well as nanny for families with dogs that required dog sitting. I have experience with many kinds of dogs, from Yorkies to Dobermans, puppies to seniors in need of special care. There isn't a dog or a cat that I've met that I haven't loved! I also have experience administering medication.I’m comfortable with a wide range of animals and genuinely enjoy getting to know each one’s personality. I currently have four cats of my own, so I understand the importance of attentive, reliable care. I’m patient, careful, and love spending time playing and engaging with animals. Over the years, I’ve also cared for many of my friends’ pets, and I’m often the person they turn to when they have questions or need advice, something I take as a true sign of trust.

I do not have a dog right now, but there are many parks near my home. If your pup needs more energetic walks, I am an avid runner and would love to run with them.

Lara was super responsible and caring with my dog, Winter. She made sure I knew how Winter was doing after each visit and was available whenever I contacted her for any concern. I would definitely book her again in the future and would recommend her for your pets.
Lara did a fantastic job! Max (cat) really warmed up to her. The pictures she sent made me miss him less. She cleaned his bowls, gave him fresh water, cleaned the goo out of his eye and off my floor!!! She played with him as well. She did a great job!
Lara is an animal lover, and animals love her, too. She is kind, responsible, and trustworthy. Lara has taken my doberman, Mika, for a walk/pee breaks over the past few years. She really went above and beyond what she was asked to do by spending a lot of time with Mika and she also sent photos which was reassuring when I was away from home. It was great to have the peace of mind that Mika was in good hands with someone who has good judgement and a kind disposition. I strongly recommend her.

Lara has always been so great about walking my two dogs. She's willing to walk at the last minute and is always flexible with any last minute changes. She loves my two dogs. They love her! She takes great care of them always going above and beyond my expectations. She sends text messages updating me and sending me pictures. She loves animals and will always put their needs first. She is worth it!
