Availability
Drop off and pick up times 9am-6pm. I am home full time to provide constant care to the animal guests of our Bed & Biscuit. Pets can be given potty breaks and exercise as frequently as they need. We can feed meals and administer medications up to 3x a day and can allow dogs to graze in a private room if they need. We also can feed family dogs separate if resource aggression is an issue.

Our property is 4.3 acres with approximately 3 acres fully fenced and split into 3 separate areas. We have the ability to offer individual or group play time for social guests within the same weight range. Your pet can be leash walked or given free run of one of our secure fenced areas. If you prefer, your pet can be crated at night, otherwise they may sleep where they are comfortable. We recommend you bring your pets bed from home to help provide something familiar for their stay. We have a young daughter that can be messy during meal times. Please let us know if your dog is or is not able to have table scraps. We treat all pups as a member of the family.

We do require all guests be current on Rabies and Distemper/Lepto vaccines as well as a flea/tick prevention. This is to ensure they do not bring or pick up anything while in our care. Please make sure to disclose your dogs specific temperament and needs so I can determine how best to care for them during their time with us.
A typical day
We have plenty of space for your pup to roam and run that is safe and completely fenced in as well as nearby trails in the little manatee River park. For indoor stimulation, I can also offer a variety of treat/puzzle enrichments. Many guests enjoy lounging with the family and relaxing.

Pet care experience
I have professional pet care experience starting back in 2010. I've worked in Boarding facilities, Pet grooming salons, Doggie daycares and as an independent pet sitter. I am trained in dog behavior as well as pet CPR and first aid From June 2016 to September 2021 I was managing a pet resort in the Lakewood ranch area. I left the corporate pet care industry and now offer pet care services from my home and property full time. This gives me the availability to provide the absolute best care and service to you and your pet. With my years of experience I have handled every possible breed, temperament, diet, special need, health issue, emergency etc. This gives me the exact knowledge I need to care for pets from my home safely and ensure the comfort and overall needs of each individual pet are met.

Lara was fantastic with Roux. She communicated with us every day, sent plenty of pictures, and completely put our minds at ease. This was our first time boarding Roux since we adopted her, and Lara made the whole experience beyond outstanding. She was attentive, loving, and truly professional. She's an excellent sitter, and I highly recommend her. Five stars doesn't even do her justice!
Lara was very accommodating for what I would call a hectic vacation! She was easy to work with when we needed to extend and took great care of our boy while we were away. She was great about photo updates and communication was effortless. I was also impressed at the amount of professional experience she was able to contribute. I had zero concerns for our baby’s wellbeing and care! I would absolutely recommend Lara for any short or long term care!
