I worked as a veterinary assistant at VCA Coast, where I supported medical care for both cats and dogs in a clinical setting. I am experienced with anxious, reactive, and stressed pets, and I understand how to approach them with patience and calm handling. I am also comfortable caring for senior animals and pets with additional medical needs. I am currently a student at UCLA studying animal physiology online for my veterinary school application. My schedule is open for the most part. I am looking forward to meeting your pet and providing you and your pet with an amazing experience! :)

Pet care experience
I have been devoted to animal care for as long as I can remember. At five years old, I was already outside caring for stray cats and dogs in Macedonia. That early instinct to protect and advocate for animals shaped the direction of my life and career. I have previously worked as a veterinary assistant with over 1000 hours of veterinary experience and currently I am studying animal physiology. I am pursuing my dream on going to veterinary school. Would love to take care of your pet!

Lara is Great! Her communication and professionalism is awesome!
Lara is the best! She has true love for my old man dog, who can be a bit grumpy, but he loves her. She is even able to clip his nails even though he is definitely grumpy about his nails. She is gentle and sweet with him. She is a vet tech/assistant so she has a ton of animal handling experience and it shows as she is very patient, calm and kind. I highly recommend her for your pets!
Lara did an extraordinary job taking care of my cat, Neon. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and caring throughout the entire experience. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about Neon, and I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. What really stood out to me was her background in the veterinary industry. She gave me helpful tips and advice that I truly appreciated, and her knowledge made me trust her even more. Neon absolutely adored her. I would highly recommend Lara to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate, and experienced cat sitter.
Lara took excellent care of my dog recently! She was able to get in for a last second trip I had to take for a couple of days, and she sent me regular updates throughout. I've never seen a happier dog when I got back home!
